Slow down, everyone is going over the top with this one. The law is there for two reasons, to appease the liberals (Arnold needs those votes) and for safety.

Most of you probably don't go around carrying your airsoft guns in public in a very conspicuos manner--so it doesn't apply to you.  The law is there for the idiots who go arround brandishing their airsoft guns and scaring poeple and putting them selves at risk with law enforcement. Most all of us play on private property, designated fields, and sponsored events; therefore, what is known is to be expected---its airsoft!

Information is the best cure for ignorance....

Dead, laws shouldn't be written simply to appease anyone.  (Appeasing liberals is what has gotten Kali into the jam it is already in).  Laws should be written to further the cause of public safety and justice.  Laws already existed regarding the rude and threatening brandishing of weapons and replica weapons.  The law in question actually created greater restrictions on replica weapons than are present for real firearms.  Does that really make a lot of sense to you?  Do you really believe that was in our best interest here in Kali?  I certainly don't.

Yes indeed, Dead.  Information is the best cure for ignorance.

There is generally a motive when a law is proposed, its rarely  written to appease anyone. Politicians have their own opinions however they are servants to their constituents...you know this will get way too heavy and I don't want to lecture politics, so simply put; what motivated this law into action? Answer that you will understand that when lawmakers react, its generally in  the extreme (patriot act)...then it cools down bit and gets modified (3 strikes you're out, the assault weapons ban law, etc......"the only perfect situation is death."

I thought 'Appeasement' as a political strategy died in the late '30s  :(

Well, yes.  Of course.

You gotta be kidding.  You don’t really believe that, right?  Kalifornia is all too famous for appeasing liberal special interest groups.  Or haven't you been paying attention?

Yeah, in Kali that would generally be that group of liberals already mentioned.

Oh please, stop now.  It hurts, it hurts.  Friiiiiiiiiip!

Hold it, are you trying to tell us that life imprisonment for stealing a pizza and the incarceration of individuals for possessing a rifle with a pistol grip and folding stock is not being extreme?!!!

Well, I’ll give you SOME credit.  You apparently recognize that the “Patriotâ€￾ Act was extreme and foolish.

*GASP*  Oh no!  they're coming!

Geronimo, get your info straight and think about the content of your post before you post it. It doesn't help anyone out to post baseless rumors that "someone" told you "they" were going to do.  If you have facts or names, please let us know, but short of that, your post was meaningless.
