The full version came out a few weeks ago for PC.  Me and my roomate got it and it's pretty cool.  Graphics are nice and and gameplay is pretty slick.  The only bad thing I can say about it is that sometimes your men will do something retarded and get themselves blown away.  As for the "tactics", its a computer game which means that it was good for getting my mind off of the post-order traversal of binary trees for a few hours and not much else.

I played the demo a few weeks ago too, I thought the game was terrible. I really didn't like the AI. I could see where online games might be fun, but it just didn't feel good playing it.

The demo was a pain in the butt.  The real PC game level which the demo is from is a little different and better.  The game as a whole is okay.  Cool idea, decent graphics.  AI is still not real great.  I'm on some palace level now and things are all screwed up. Delta snipers standing in the middle of a fire fight for no reason.  Even once you clear the area they still don't acknowledge your existance.  You tell your guys to take cover and they lay down out in the open when a nice block wall is right next to them.  Yeah little dumb stiff that makes one level take all night.

What would be cool is a Half life 2 mod where you could act as a team and get into formation, or out of it at any time.  Maybe like when your in formation the point man controls the movement of the team and everyone else is like their on a train with their own fire sectors to cover.  Yeah just an idea.

Screwloose, you might want to check out this: http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/ ... 3.zip.html
It looks pretty cool. First person shooter, but you get to take charge of a squad of men.

Full Spectrum Warrior was not bad, but it wasn't great. The AI was lacking a bit, but a lot of the mistakes helped to balance out the ease of the game. Some stuff was just stupid, though, like telling a squad to run to a corner and they just stand there when someone walks in front of them and starts shooting at them [xx(]

FSW for the PC is coming out (if not out already).  The demo is here: http://www.fullspectrumwarrior.com/gm_demodownload.php

Old news to the Xbox crowd, but I hadn't seen it.   Can you learn good airsoft tactics from it?

Thoughts?
