they both do. They are excel brand, that is all that matters. The white ones take longer to degrade i guys. But how fast do the brown ones go?

The "regular" Excel BBs are bio for the purposes of AA games, but I don't think they're as "bio" as the specifically Biodegradable ones.  Usually referred to as "Bio" and "True bio."

Dont forget the New Excel Tracer Bio's, there oviously Biodegradable too, and made up of starch to help Degrade faster. Not to mention glow in the dark!!!!

The problem I've heard of with the brown BB's is that you actually have to keep them cool like in the fridge if you want them to last awhile. Can anyone confirm or disclaim this?

I have heard that too, as well as that they must be kept dry. I read somewhere that the brown ones degrade quickly in water.

Has anyone ever seen evidence of a bb actually degrading, though? From what I've heard the bio bbs still take years to disappear.

I remember matt or mike mentioning that they put both the "bio" and the regular excel's in a dish outside with a little bit of water and saw no degradation of either even after a year.  And I've used the "bio's" and they don't appear to be any different from the regular and aren't even brown.  I think it's all a scam.  I've heard a number of different people say the "bio's" are made from starch, but I've never seen one prove it other than by saying "I read it somewhere".

I can officially say that all the "white" BB's that have been laying around in my yard over the summer have turned yellow now.

But I have no clue if that means they are degrading or not.

well, my old house had hundreds of BBs back there. I noticed some were cracking and splitting apart, and they were becoming unevenly surfaced. they hadnt been there too long either.

I have heard that regular BB's will take over a hundred years to fully degrade and that bios take somewhere in the range of 60-75 years to fully degrade and that they get away with callin them Bio-degradeable due to a small amout of Bio-degadeable material used in them,I have also heard that getting them wet wont hurt them if you don't believe me put some in a cup of water and leave it outside in the sun for a week and if what I've heard is correct you wont see any change in your bb's.

I'm now confused about BIO bbs

I always thought that only the brown colored excel bb's with "Biodegradable" were referred to as bio bbs; picture:



But now I have had people tell me that the regualr excels are considered bios too; picture:


Obviously they all take forever to biodegrade, but which one(s) adhear to the AA game rules?
