It's obvious he's a folk hero to the people of Afghanistan. I believe he is still in those caves, somewhere. He got shot in the arm, supposedly, and he was near death, so I am sure he left to go get medical attention, probably in some Afghan village. As long as UBL is such a popular figure ot the Afghanis, we won't get him. The Iraqis were tired of Sadaam, and that's how we got him.

It's pretty obvious he is still alive, because he talkes about things that happened fairly recently on the tape.  I have heard rumors that he was wounded before.  Which would also explain why we have not heard from him and in his last video he looked real bad.  I wish they would show more of the video, or have a place to view it.  It might help to discern where he is.

Ah hes out there. I think the root of the problem is "Al-Jezeera". those assholes keep showing this stuff. If we were to shut them down we wouldnt ever see these videos, and people would lose faith in this Pajama wearing pegan.

Well own might be a streach, but they are based in Qutar which we run. And I'm pretty sure that somewhere up the food chain they are run by a US company.

If you ever find out who owns them, I would sure like to write an angry letter to those people.

P.S. I love the headline on that story... "Whos is helping Osama Bin Laden". How about Syria, Iran, the UAE, Yeman, Sadi Arabia, or even Egypt?

I'm glad you guys spell like Fox News does and how they keep using the wrong spelling.  His name is Osama Bin Laden, OBL not UBL or Usama.  He's probably still in some cave crapping on the ground with all his extremeist buddies.  I think a mini daisy cutter would be fun to drop in that cave.  Severe his arms and legs and keep him limbless and inside the WTC memorial where everyone can kick him in the nuts.  :-D

He has his own team of doctors or whatever, so he shouldn't need to go to a hospital.  Ill try and find the link, but I just read a mini (19 page) biography online on Osama.  The guys crazy.  He is the one who needs to die, no saddam (Iraq=lost cause)

Not concentrating our efforts on hunting down OBL was a major, MAJOR, mistake.

A mini big blue would be a conventional bomb...

I hope you have friends in the military to back up that "lost cause" theory, because my friends who have returned from Iraq seem to think differently.

But I do remember reading about Osama's band of doctors.  I read this before our active participation in Afghanistan so I don't know if he still has them.  I'm sure he dispatched most of them and just has one or two to help him perform the necessary medical procedures.

But I do agree with lead.  It was a major mistake to stop many of our efforts to find Osama.  The task force comprised of special forces of every branch was dismantled and reformed for the use of finding Saddam.  However, since we found Saddam, they've been tasked with finding Osama again.  But we still don't have sufficient conventional forces on the ground to enclose him.
