For those of you who beat it already, how many were disapointed with the ending? I finnally got ahold of a copy one of my squad memeber's had, beat in in about 4 evenings of play. Loads of fun, but they really left the ending bad, at least that is what I think......

Halo 2 was good for the most part, however I do have a few beefs with it. The human weapons kinda ran out of ammo really fast, and half the time you had to pick up a plasma or the like. Maybe it was just me, but in Halo 1 I could use a pistol next to forever and find ammo pick ups all the time for it. My big beef was with the storyline, as Halo 1 ended nicely. Halo 2 just screams Halo 3. And yes Halo 3 is in the works, for the Xbox 2 and so far 2006/7 is the date for it.

The other big beef is with Multiplayer. I was really wanting Halo 2 for it's online play with Xbox Live. However imho the system sucks, where with the PC I can pick a list of servers to play on or even start my own. Halo 2 uses that stupid random games, soooo unless I have my friends on my friends list I'm suck going into a random game. Great idea, just doesn't work as half the time I'll get into a good game with players around my age 18 to 30. The other half I get a ton of punk 13 year olds, who love running there mouths about ummm 'things' to put it nicely.

Other then those I found the gameplay fun as hell. Music kicks in at all the right times, the AI could have used somemore work. But I'd bet good money some of it gets fixxed with a patch. As for what your getting Kamikaze, when did you get your Xbox? I know the first Xbox's that came out would mess up like that from time to time.

Halo 2

Ok, so it's not quite a PC game, but has anyone else picked it up yet?  I grabbed it shortly after midnight this morning and have played wayyyy too much today.  Overall I love it... some fun new additions, cooler weapons and the dual wielding is awesome.  The cutscenes are incredible and legendary mode is even harder than in Halo.  I'm not too jazzed about the pistol being stripped of its scope or the lack of a hang 'em high level (blood gulch and battle creek do make a reappearance, albeit quite altered).  The energy sword is the coolest weapon ever and the story has some interesting twists.

Anyone else have any opinions?

Also, anyone who has picked up the game, do you have any trouble loading any levels for split screen?  If i select Headlong, the game gives me a "failed to load level" message and then won't load any other maps until I eject and reinsert the disk.  It also does this occasionally with other maps, but the problem seems to fix itself on reset, but I still haven't been abel to play headlong.  I don't know if this is a problem w/ my xbox or the game itself as I have had problems reading the Halo 1 disc, but never had any problems with Splinter Cell.

Holy crap, we get a new ressurector every day....please check the dates, its cool if you NEED to ressurect a thread, but just agreeing or saying something like that is pointless.

Judging by the horrible bugs, it was definatly rushed out...

You can sword kill someone from across the room and you can lag and kill everyone in a game just by pressing a button on your side of the game while on xbox live.  Those bugs should never have gotten out, especially the lag and kill one.  tsk tsk microsoft.
