Who would send a spy in airsoft? What a stupid damn thing to do. Stupid and too obsessed over the sport.. way too much. Ofcourse, if there wasn't a "spy" and you only thought there was one.. that would even be worse for you. Don't refer to him as a spy, refer to him as a moron.

Honestly I agree that there is nothing to hide in airsoft. The topic as I said earlier is hypothetical.

Just wondered if anyone had ever heard of it happening. I could see it if there was aprofessional league type competition.

And yes Moron would fit.

Well it depends on the specifics. I think it would be kind of fun to allow that at a game, mainly a storyline one. Something like a tan member working w/the green team as if he's a green member to get info for his team wouldn't be bad if it was a known option. If it's just somebody who's messing around and turning OpFor on you mid-game then they should be stood up with a blindfold and put in front of the airsoft firing squad.

It sounds like if there was a spy, he would not be doing it because he's obsessed over airsoft, but he just a wack job that wants to join the CIA, but hence is too stupid to get in or is getting pratice for the "big time!"

People do some pretty stupid stuff  , I would believe that something like that would happen.

I'm hoping to get into the CIA one day... ummm.....

 ;)

To me teams are just a better way to be organized. I love playing airsoft for the experience, not just to win.

The only possible reason for a "spy" that I could think of would be to find out tactics, etc.
Is there a team that plays that serious in Phoenix?

I have found some websites for teams that are pretty serious about their airsoft.
For instance, one team in Canada had a pictures of themselves (so they say) doing room breaches via rappelling. They would accept all challenges with one requirement, the winning team won the weapons of the losing team.
Now that is some serious airsoft.

Play, and beat them, using springers.  Then see how they feel after that loss
