Grenades, where do you get them?
« on: February 04, 2005, 12:22:22 AM »
Where do you buy the rubber training grenades at?  I need to get a few of those, and I can't find them online.
On another note,
I'm going to purchase the GB-Tech Distraction Device ( Gas Charger), from Airsofttroops.com soon, if anyone wants anything, let me know, I get a 7-15% discount on all items.

I do have a few Pineapple grenades left in the older design.  I'll start pouring more lemon grenades if people are interested in buying them. I also will be pouring a mold to make Baseball grenades too.  I will definitely be changing the plug on the pin set up so it won't come out as easily. Also I will be making the ribbons longer. Bravo Company will get a chance to buy grenades before, and at the LCIV before I offer to Alpha.   The grenades are colored black,  but the new grenades can be either black or OD.  If a certain color is preferred please let me know so I can accommodate

The Grenades will still be Ten dollars despite rubber prices going up again. As soon as I get completed I post it. what color would you like, Black or OD? If we have another meeting about LCIV like last year with LCIII, I'll bring some there.

I was talking with Mikey about a week ago, about a small circuit that I made to fit inside the grenade.  The circuit will 'chirp' once every ten seconds after the pin is pulled, makes it easier to find.  The circuit is about the size of a quarter, I've got to find a way to get the connector for the pin into the top of the grenade though.  Its almost the same circuit as the claymores that we made.

I know that most of the time we yell "GRENADE!" when we throw them to let the opposing players know that one is coming, but if there was an audio que when the grenade landed that would be even better.  And the chirping sound afterwards would greatly help find your grenade so you don't loose your $10-12 investment!  I think its an awesome idea!

I'd be interested in 3 baseballs in black.  I'll be at LCIV, but I doubt I'll be able to make any of the preliminary AZ meetings since I'm in CA.
