We tried to bury that hatchet(quoting AZSarge), but you just won't forget about it will you? Why do you continue to bring up a topic in which we all tried/trying to forget?

My guess would be that it's for the same reason that he revived an old thread and posted the *high* amount he says he spent on airsoft stuff; for the same reason he posted about cars he owns, his financial status, etc...  he posted the info in a very non-chalant manner.

Some people just thrive on attention:  negative or positive.  My 5 yr old son is the same way.

Post was here because my friend Ray recieved around 10 phone calls from some of you in regard to concerns about me attending this SAT game. My attempt was to get you to stop bothering him anymore about this, to defuse/eliminate the situation. This thread applies only to the few of you but if you feel it applies to you still yet--that's on you.  Can't win for lose sometimes, no matter how thorough you try to be to eliminate ambiguity, but instead for some, its construed to be arrogance, rehashing something old, attention getting, etc. Paco, you're the exact type of person we stray away from hiring because of your lack of empathy, ambition and the negative cognotation that is associated with your jealousy. Ya, Paco too bad you'll never understand why you won't have any money yourself, we don't let people like yourself in.....

Interesting reply.  I never once doubted that you would NOT attend the game, given how you have presented yourself since joining this board.  If you showed up, the mystique would be gone and the attention you desperately appear to seek would vanish.  You portray yourself as a wealthy "unemployed" businessman with lots of time to spare and toys to buy, but the manner in which you present yourself on these boards seems to suggest otherwise.  Your grammar is bad and your spelling is atrocious - you even used non-existent words in your above reply, as far as I can tell.  It's not something I normally mention, but when you've tried to portray yourself as you have here, it's worth mentioning, if only as a side-bar.

I also find it ironic; your "conclusion" about me.  Many here know me personally, and would say almost the exact opposite - except the notion that I am not empathetic   :twisted: - though I'd love to hear to whom you think I should have showed this "empathy" that I am so lacking.  Let me know.  Not ambitious?  One of my flaws is probably that I am too much so...  at least that's what I've been told.  Oh well.  Hearing the opposite from you balances it out for me and makes me feel a lot better about it.   :)   As far as the "negative cognotation that is associated with your jealousy [sic]" - well, you'll have to decode that one for me, as I have no idea what "cognotation" means.  I don't think it's a word, and as far as I can tell, it's not close to any other word that would make sense in its contextual place.
My financial situation is really of no importance ore relevance to anyone on this board (nor do they seem to care) other than me being able to provide the means to allow everyone (such as yourself) to use this web site and services associated with it, free of charge.  However, unlike me, you chose to open the door to your lifestyle and financial situation by being a braggart, subtle as it was, and now you are frustrated at the result.

Also - just curious - if you're so upset about "Ray" getting all these calls, why did you post his name in the forums anyway, knowing that it's a public forum?  That's especially unusual given that you said that you wouldn't even take a picture of toy guns of yours because it might reveal a part of your home that you didn't want someone to see.  Interesting logic there.  I bet your friend Ray really appreciated that one.  Also, unless you were kind enough to post his phone number, how did everyone get it to place those "10 calls" to him?  I'm not implying that it didn't happen, I'm just trying to find out where the breach in security occurred.

Not that I want to start some kind of thread war here, but I've got to point something out in the hopes that a clue is caught.

  You said;
Quote from: "LeftForDead"
Can't win for lose sometimes, no matter how thorough you try to be to eliminate ambiguity, but instead for some, its construed to be arrogance, rehashing something old, attention getting, etc.

  And in the same post, followed up with;
Quote
Ya, Paco too bad you'll never understand why you won't have any money yourself, we don't let people like yourself in.....

  Now that last quote certainly seems dripping with arrogance to me. Perhaps before you go tagging other people you check your own statements before you hit that little submit button down below.  ;)

  Further more, I'd like to point out that I've known Paco on the boards and on the field for quite a few years now.  He has been nothing but helpful and courteous.  He's the kind of person I'd gladly backup.  Granted, I don't know everything about this conversation, but I can tell you that you don't know everything about Paco.  :)

If you haven't already, go and see the movie "Napolean Dynamite".  LFD reminds me of the older brother who's online ALL day... and is training for 'cage fighting' (the guy is like 100lbs) unlike LFD who is 230lbs, 6'3..... funny how everybody online is big.. nobody is ever 150lbs 5'7".

I'm personally tired of this guy spewing crap all over when he deserved what he got.  For all I care he can reply to his own post from now on as I hope no one will give him the time of day from now on.

All that I have to say is that I'm sorry this whole thing started at all. I hate to see this kind of ambiguity being created within our tiny little hobby. Even though LFD is just as guilty as the other people that kept that thread going and deserved a tiny bit of the crap he got, I hate to think that theres someone out there that will now tell all of the other airsofters he deals with how lame AA is. The only way this could have been prevented would have been to stop the flamewar early on. If more people would just take the high road and ignore that thread or only post calming things, this bs could have been averted.

Everyone- grow up. Be a bit more accomodating to new users. Just because they ask a question similar to an old one, don't just blow them off and tell them to use the search function. Forums like this are supposed to be about information sharing and communication. If a new guy signs up, it is to learn about airsoft, not to get an attitude from all of the l33t, high-post-count people on the board. They can get that at any other big airsoft site.

You're so way off que. My grammar, punctuation, syntax, etc isn't to impress you or anyone else. If it really did matter to me, if I wanted impress, I would use spell check or perhaps MS word before posting my thread. You see, for yourself, being such an overly critical person, you over anlaylze situations and often contradict your own beliefs. Your perception is your reality and you'll be sure that it suits you the best no matter how wrong you don't want to be (snicker).

Being that I'm deaf in one ear, I often spell "phonetically," or perhaps this isn't within your comprehension. Intellligent people can comprehend the mis-spelled words from sentence structure, only a critical moron would point out the errors and not understand what was meant to be expressed. I can only imagine that your 5 year old suffers emotional distress from not being able to communicate effectively and that you can't understand him. Your arguments are weak. You lack original thought and you borrow your intelligence from others--I've been fortunate not come across too many of your stature in my time.

If you can't understand the text of this message, you can use spell check or the few bird brain cells you may have to figure out what you're readinig here....good luck with your "ambitions."

Well, LFD, people express their concerns becuase they think you are a liar. You threaten one person, saying something about 600 FPS, which is agains't our rules. Had you not mentioned that, or made any other silly, empty threats, there would be no cuase for concern. I don't think i have seen paco be mean, or anything of that nature to ANYONE on this board, not even me. From what i've seen(never met him in person) he can be pretty laid back, its amazing you got him to respond to something like this.

Andy, i'm 150, 6 foot :).

Greg, I understand where you are coming from. We didn't TRY to give this crap(granted it just happened anyway) he just brought up something, and we asked him, and he got defensive, and that lead us to believe he was a liar(at which he ALSO took offense too.

Didn't think that there were so many immature people here who would go bitching to him. As harmless as I thought it may be....

I will certainly be more caucious in the future about dropping names.  I rarely find myself on public forums other than this one. Certainly this has been an eye opener for myself.

Funny, but typical, that you attack me in a personal way without addressing one single question or issue that I raised.  I'd also be particularly interested in hearing your response to Reaver's observation above.

I have absolutely no problem with you.  I DO have a huge problem with "internet forum wannabe's".  I don't know you by anything other than what you've posted here, so any conclusions I make about you must be based on what you personally have posted here.  Based on that, I think you are an "internet wannabe".  You could stop all this crap any number of ways that have been pointed out previously.  As for me, just post a picture of any one of the previously pictured airsoft guns (in your other post) in front of the front end of your Aston Martin (or Ferrari, as I am not picky) with a piece of paper on which you have inscribed "Eat that Paco!" and I'll have a big slice of humble pie along with quite a few others on this board.  There's no exscuse for you not to do it as - 1 - you obviously have a digital camera - 2- no personal or private info/data would be revealed by such a picture that would compromise any anonymity - 3 - It would take no effort - 4 - and you could certainly stomp on me.

I don't think you'll do it.  Inevitably - as easy as it would be to do - you will come back with some excuse for not being able to do it, or simply say that you don't want to because you have "nothing to prove" to anyone and...  well, you know how it goes.

That's all it would take for me to eat my own words about all this.

I own a real AR15; do you believe me?
