Ben, what's the mag pouch on the EPC, the double stack. Looks.. 'tierd'.

Thats a CT Double Double.  It only looks "tired" because I got lazy and didnt push the mag all the way down  :P

Mind you that I normally remove most of that stuff during games... I just put it back on so I could look cool.

so, Im tired of looking like an advertisement for JT everytime I gear up, so I put this together and have added a few nic nacs and do-dads.. what you don't see on the back is going to be a barrel cactus hydration pack, an icom radio holder and the paracletes pouch I have to store stuff. otherwise from what you can see - does this kit qualify for "legit status"?

Are you kidding? I dont have any sweet guns.. LR 300 is the closest

nobody even commented on my sweet guns either..

They really aren't as sweet as your guys guns, because I don't care for m4 variants as much as I like german guns (HK) I like full stocks too, so that messes em up too.

They're out there, Tim.

Regardless of what you consider "affordable," some of them just may end up costing as much as a real FAL.

It's one of those rifles that hasn't really become popular yet, and I doubt it will ever become popular like an M4.

Coming from Asia, where the obsession is on SEAL-commando-Delta-sniper-recon-Rangers, the most popular weapons are the M4/M16, MP5, AK types.  "Foreign" battle rifles such as the FAL, and even stuff like the G3 and L85 aren't as popular, although the latter two have been produced in quantity.

I've only seen that one website where the dude took the GBB FAL and turned it into an AEG.

I know that my quest is unlikely to bear fruit, so I'll either settle on an M14 or M4....someday.  Got too much other stuff to buy first.

Well, if you want to come out to a game, you're more than welcome to use my CQB R until then.

Speaking of TAG here's my new gear setup. I've used it in a couple games now, but I never got around to putting it up...and I figured it should be put up for public scrutiny.

Ok. I wanted a plate carrier and of course I wanted the Eagle. However as I'm sure a lot of you know, that particular brand is very hard to come by. So until I can get my hands on the eagle, I opted for the TAG Plate Carrier. It works well for me. It's very comfortable and has a lot of room for a lot of stuff, as you can see.

Front

Back

The colors are a little screwed up, but I'm planning on possible dusting it with some other colors to get rid of the big fat OD.

The pouches on it are:

Front:
-4 Double M4, Tactical Taylor (I would've got battlelab ones but loops on the front made it ideal for carrying CO2 cartridges for my howler launcher)
-Single M4 Pouch (holds my sidearm)
-2 Pistol Mag pouches, Tactical Taylor
-Small utility pouch, Tactical Taylor
-Medium utility pouch, Emdom
-Grenade Pouch, Blackhawk (no comments from the peanut gallery please)

Back:
Hydro Pouch, Company unknown :?
Med Pouch, Tactical Taylor
Radio Pouch, Company unknown...

I suppose you could that the Hydro and Radion pouches are, shall I say...hand-me-downs...

But anyways. There's my kit. Notice I wasn't wearing it for the pic...
