my sexy, WEESATCH!! and a sexy cabinet, and some sexy basses :-D

(pic)

it's got all the upgrades, bells and whistles.  there's also a 3L hydro carrier and a radio pouch on the back. i just need a utility pouch for the front and maybe a pistol mag pouch for a speed loader and a mag

Nice, I'm thinking I might get one.

What do you guys prefer, Weesatch or Wasatch?  Is there a big difference?

You should get an Eagle Plate Carrier instead.

+1. Chest Rigs are cool...but they don't, generally have as much PALS realestate. Or they're not as comfortable...sometimes.

This is my kit as of right now....excluding uniforms of course.  CQB all the way baby!  And yes...there are 22 mags sitting there.  Only 1 is a high cap.

Propper chest rigs worn correctly (not sagging or floppy) I have found to be far superior in cumfort to vests. They also keep things on your chest away from your hips that can cause wear and strain. Chest rigs have an appropriate amount of realestate so that you dont overload yourself with tons of BS that you realy dont need on you.

Think about this: mags are heavy, instead of having a bajillion mags consider the max amount that you have ever needed in a heavy engagement and only cary that many, and instead of the other mags carry a way to reload. I carry 9standards = 612rnds with 3times that in reloading capability, my rig is lighter I can move quicker and I have never run out of ammo.

You zoomies love Black kit, don't you?

Even the TACP sections walking around NFH have black slings and holsters.  Maybe their E7s just haven't issued the cans of krylon yet!

Ganef is right.  Go light!

I completely agree, I have an Eagle Universal chest rig SKD version.  I have room for 8 AR-15 mags, 4 pistol mags, a radio pouch and a nalgene pouch.

Its nice and simple and it forces you to pack light.

Question for all you LC vet guys, will my rig do for LC or does it not have enough room?
