Oh.  Nice.  For some reason, it looked tan in the picture.

It is tan.

Why am I so colorblind?  All of the tan stuff looks OD in that picture of your M4.  But it is still a kick-ass M4.  Wish I had one.

Its not a very good picture.  I think it was indoors, at night.  Maybe I'll take some more today.

Edited To Add -

Should be able to see the tan-ness more now.

So as to not get off topic, I'll post some gear photos.

Gears of airsoft past-

Tactical Applications Group / Eagle Industries Spartan Vest w/ Coyote Tactical pouches, Recce Gear Admin Panel, and CSM Gear Dump Pouch.  The photo contrast makes the pouches appear more "yellow" than they really are.

HSGI Warlord with Paraclete pouches.

1st Line gear.  HSGI Suspenders. 6004 holster for 1911 with 6V light, HSGI drop leg with Paraclete M4 pouches, Recce Gear dump pouch.

Various camo patterns on various people.

Me at Operation Restore Order in November 2003.  You can make fun of my unfortunately patterned 3 color pants.  Paraclete RAV with Paraclete pouches, the TC-2001 helmet I made, "Liberators" that I made out of some Peltor COMTACs, HSGI drop leg panel, SOE Holster.

Evolution of my Paraclete RAV setup (Mostly Paraclete Pouches) -

Ganef's, AZSarge's, and my RAID packs at a shoot in Springerville two years ago.

My SOTech Hellcat back when I first got it.  Mostly Paraclete pouches and 1 Blackhawk pouch.

Same Hellcat like a year later.

Very dusty at this point.  Looked cool.

SOTech Callahan.  Basically a plate carrier with a Hellcat mated to it.  Paraclete pouches.

Hellcat portion of the Callahan.

Here's what I carry around everyday.  Not sexy, but essential.

-Tokyo Marui M16A2/M203 (upgraded to 2800 fps!) with an VLTOR A2 stock and BFG VCAS
-DBT E&E bag (inside is a TCI Liberator Headset, wing cord, pigtail, Surefire X200A, LB2 IR illuminator, LB2 "chemlite" red/green, ammo, TM cheat sheets, FA kit, thumb drives, some other electronics and tools, misc shit)
-ACH with ESS goggles
-Petzl Taktikka Headlamp

My armor is staged in an ISU90/DART locker at the hangar, but I'll try to get some pics of the new shit we got.

It's an VLTOR stock.

It's half the weight of the std A2 stock, allows me a couple of sling attachment options, and holds batteries for my lights.

It's not something I would ever buy, but it works ok.  Still too fuckin long, but I'm not going out every day and getting into gunfights, so the best shit goes to the guys that do.

Every other Romeo in the 82nd has a 9 in a shoulder holster, but I like the idea of a 203 for when we go out on a DART mission.

Funny, that I end up getting this, but they can't find a way to get me a light mount or an Aimpoint.  I'm a firm believer in mastering Irons before even being allowed to LOOK at optics, but after 40/40 on both the 300m and 203 ranges, twice, I'd say I qualify.

In the end, it's more important that I have the tools I need (BDAR kits, SNAP-ON, and a MILTOPE) than the tools I want (M4, ACOG, ANVIS).

I certainly can help.  Be aware that, at the moment, SOTech is runnign about 12 weeks out.  I have 1 Hellcat left in Khaki/Coyote, and that's it.  I've been waitin on Falcons since October....
