We all have to start somewhere.

Here is some of my kit that I've set up to suit my needs here.

Eagle Industries unless otherwise noted.
MARCIRAS, Khaki
-2x 9mm pouch (carries leatherman and surefire 6P)
-Coyote Tactical Quad 40mm pouch
-2x Double M4 pouch
-Michael Bianco IFAK w/foldout kit, Combat Application Tourniquet, Cinch Tight, 10x10 HemCon
Medium ESapi and IIIa soft armor inserts on the sides (I don't like to run the ESBI APM2 sideplates inside)

RRV, Khaki
-Icom radio pouch
-2x 200rd SAW Drum pouch
-Medium Esapi in the chest
This rig is for the SAW ammo I'm never going to carry, but the pouches hold M16 mags, too.

ESBI Sideplates

Bullets, 203 rounds (2x HE, 1x GRN Marker)

Hydration pack for the RRV

Kifaru Marauder, OD.  I fucking love this pack for 1-2 day trips and general use!

Oh, and my COMTAC Liberator headset.

The CIRAS is the shit, bottom line.  I'm very fortunate to be able to wear it, because I hear the IOTV isn't all it was cracked up to be.  I also have an IBA, with all the BS but I've been wearing the CIRAS lately and will continue to do so until I come home.  It's not comfortable with the sideplates inside, but it wasn't designed to use the sideplates I have, the way I've used them.  It's much easier to don than one may think considering the side entry.

I probably will never use the RRV here, like alot of other kit that I was issued.

Rockin the CIRAS returning back from a 3-day outing:

Cheers!

Good lookin' kit man. I'll be posting my shit sometime soon, probably when I get back to the Ghan. Where'd the RRV and shit come from? You didn't have that when I was there.

I found the side opening MARCIRAS much easier to get into than the Land Version.  I wish I never sold my P-RAS...

I knew I wasn't the only Guardsmen that prefered coyote brown over the retarded ACU.

I'd post a pic but for some reason it won't let copy and paste. hmmmm maybe someone can help.

I'm glad you guys are allowed to rock something other then the IBA. OIF III we weren't allowed anything but IBA's for plate carriers, we could put different stuff over it but hell just trying to get something that didn't suck was hard enough.

That bag was carrying bullets and underwear before you were even a tickle in your fathers vas deferens.  It's like, an antique, or something.

That, and I didn't pay for it so I'm not getting too emotional over the color of the plastic.

But, good job.  That's why we pay you the big bucks, dude.  :D

But at what cost, Vince, what cost...?

I got it from a dude that was over here before me.  I've merely communicated with Mel via email, and he's a great dude.

Honestly, I'd prefer one in Coyote, but it's fine.  I also bought an X-Ray in Foliage Green.  Great fuckin bag, but I just wasn't using it so I traded it for 6 HK M4 mags and 250 cash.

I have some more shit to post, but it'll probably be after I get home and unpack.  I've already sent one giant box back, and I still have 3 more, not including my A and B deployment kit bags.
