Here’s my current setup.  The rig itself was made by Coyote Tactical, while the pouches are a mix of Paraclete, CT, and Recce Gear.

I run my Camelbak tube under my left arm.  The hydration pouch has side ports, and the tube is routed with grim locks and Velcro/elastic.  My radio ends up under my left arm and my dump pouch (folded up in the picture) hangs under it on some long malice clips.  On my right side is a modified Chuckwalla, which holds my BB loaders, spare batteries, and glasses.

It consists of four parts: the front, the two sides, and the rear hydration carrier.

The front flips up, and the inside is lined with Velcro to keep the sides in place.  This makes it very easy to put on and take off.  It would also be very easy to switch between two different front pieces (say one with M4 pouches, and another with AK pouches).

The rig also has a small bib.  It’s big enough to hold two M4 mags side by side (an AK mag is shown in the picture).  I use it for maps, power bars, and other small flat items.

Thanks Kurn for posting that.  It is basically what I was describing.  I may not need it quite so modular though.  You have yourself a very cool rig.

Basement posing in the theater!

Operation Desert Shield Loadout [EARLY] (Not quite Desert Storm)

Kit List:
-Propper 3 Color BDU's
-PASGT Flak Vest in Woodland
-PASGT Helmet w/ 6 color helmet Cover
-Bolle X800
-CFP-90 Ruck Sack
-LC-2 Pistol Belt
-LC-2 Y Suspendors
-LC-2 1QT Canteen Pouches (x2)
-LC-2 Tripple M16 Pouches (x2)
-OD Buttpack (made by JUST, actually MOLLE gear, shouldnt be, but it is :D)

Not 100% accurate, need USMC Sand Wind and Dust Goggles but they are not ANSI rated so bleh... also need an LC-2 Buttpack and a Cateyes band for the Helmet.  Currently waiting on the Woodland BDU and helmet cover.  I May decide to get an LC-2 buttpack but I dont really want to right now.  There is also no chance in hell I'll buy an M16A2 to have the proper weapon for the Era so I guess another thing that I'm going to look the other way on.

Here's my new rig, not even close to finished as it just got here yesterday. It's a DBT FAPC in ranger green. Pouches will be here by the beginning of next week

I paid about $180 for this (minus the stuff in the pouches and the radio).  I say about because I got the dump pouch with some other stuff for cheap, so I spent $180 for everything besides the dump pouch.   And its all OE Tech...

Replace camo with an AK mag chest rig and I wouldn't be able to tell you were American.
