We stole the Eagle from the Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we\'ve been running the show ever since.

To Saint Peter he will tell,
Another soldier reporting sir,
I\'ve spent my time in hell

If you ever have to carry around a SAW, you aren't going to want them on your sides like that, its going to get in the way. Trust me. The best way to run a SAW is to have in on a seperate rig, not attached to your body armor, IMO.

Carrying a saw effectively in airsoft is much different than carrying a real one. The mags don't need to be replaced to be refilled with ammo. I found it the most effective to carry gp pouches with bags of ammo and spare batteries. I carried a saw in two LC events (5 &6), op irene 4 and balkan hammer I.

Be sure you have the necessary equipment to repair a boxmag in the field, they can be jammed by sticks and leaves that fall into them during loading. Also lubing the box periodically needs to happen. I also carried 2 m4 mags in case of an emergency when my box mag failed in a firefight.
