Never made it to Texas.  San Diego has a grasp on me. But I feel a pull away from California, while the weather is nice the laws suck. And I need to build an AR. I have thought about just heading to Arizona and just buying the parts then comming back. What they don't know right?

I know this gear sucks bawls. you wouldn't want it.

Pay attention kids, THAT is sexy gear!  It even looks like  he fuckin USES his kit.

One recommendation for the brain bucket - Skydex pads.  I've used the MSA, OA, and Skydex pads here and the latter have the best comfort.  In the cold, and it gets cold as FUCK here, they stay soft unlike the other 2 I've used.

Nice choices in kit, bro.  

If you need a NVG bracket, I've got you covered.  It's not a Norotos, but equally High Speed.  Drop me a PM.

yeah i've got 3-4 nvg mounts, i broke one when i threw my helmet at a speeding guntruck, another from dropping my helmet on the ground, but if your looking for one either let me or azsarge know.

The mounts I have won't work with a PVS-7 or -14.  Well, I have one that will and it's staying on one of my helmets.

The PVS mounts fucking blow.  Granted, the other mounts I have are composite and metal and are fragile, but the cast pot metal POS PVS mounts break when you look at them.

The shit I have only works with dual-tube NODs.  I do have several setups though.  
-Mount w/battery case built in (special batteries) (aka HGU "Ski Boot" mount)
-Same as above but uses AAs
-Standard mount, with specially-wired liplight battery pack (2xAA)
-Standard mount, with standard Battery box (4xAA)
-same as above, but with the AERIAL (Aerial Machine & Tool) standoff block

I also HAD an adapter for the PVS-ANVIS mount, but I can't find it.  I have so many types because I was looking for the perfect mount solution for the dual-tube NODs before they got locked up.

I'd take a pic of it all, but some are sealed in an ISU90, some are in the States now, and some are still in my B-hut.  When I get home and get them all back, maybe.

So, if you're looking for the PVS mount, Malicious Ind is the guy.

Thanks for the info on the mounts, When I am ready I will let you guys know.

Glad you like the gear, and it is very well used, but still in good condition. Not as well used as yours I am sure, but about once a week.  It is still in good condition because it is not some condor nock off crap.

Buy cheap buy twice.

The Sordins are litterally brand new so they will stay black for a little while. I don't want to void any warranty just yet.  Took them out to the range and they are great, can't do any tactical shooting yet but after my leg heals it's back to airsoft and 9mm target practice.

I think he means "what kind of NVG brackets for the MICH / ACH?"  ie, PVS, ANVIS, HGU Skiboot, ITT, Wilcox (Manufacturing), Wilcox Research, Norotos, AWS, etc.  They ALL make mounts for the TC2000 style helmet.

There are more types than I can count.  I have a couple of the most popular types, except for the Norotos mounts.  We tried to order them but I doubt we'll see them by the time we leave, IF the order even went through.  

There are some VERY cool new NOD mounting solutions coming out.  Hopefully there will be a few examples at SHOT this year.

tweaked with my gear, got it into a workable sniper set up (untill i get a rig and other gear) and got a Vietnam era M14 mag pouch

using my spare canteen pouch as my drop pouch..it works well so far

It's better than my first kit.

M80, make sure that you don't start buying more expensive gear until you think about what is really practical, and get some input, and hopefully even try some different stuff.  A lot of gear looks bad ass but is bulky, or uncomfortable, or just doesn't seem right.  The simpler (and the easier), the better.  Your pistol belt is a pretty good start, it should help you develop a little bit of a feel for what you do/don't like, and what you think you would like to improve upon.  (Also, perhaps just as important, what really doesn't need to be improved upon)
