Ares, get your gear dirty. It's too perty! Put it on, go outside, roll around in the dirty, rinse and repeat!

I plan to, not much opportunity to on account of opening the gun and carrier today!   As for the pouches, been waiting for the carrier to use them, so I cant wait to hit the field!

That he has, my friend. The rig is a Blackwater IO plate carrier with cumber bund. He made the ammo panel on the front*, i believe the admin, radio pouch, and the 2 smaller pouches next to the admin.

*i bought several, but only have one on there cause my parents got me triple panels from tactical tailor, and the rig from SKD. So now what do i do?

No worries, they only dropped it to 17. ;)

And yes, it is a start.  This loadout will hopefully last me until then end of next year at which time I'll probaly buy a true U.S. Marine loadout before I begin playing any AA games.

Yes, I will probaly have to lose the cat considering he probaly weighs more than my replica. ...maybe the orange tip too, I did just pick the replica up yesterday though, so haven't had any time to do much except unsuccessfully attempt to get a stick battery in there... :?

I think you gear looks great.  Functionality is very personal though.  You have to decide what works for you and you won't know that until you use it in the field.  If it is modular and it looks like it is you don't have a problem.

correct about functionality.

An example of the things im looking for would be that i used to carry all my magazines with the spines facing the right. Someone suggested that they face the left and after some "getting used to" reloading from the rig became a lot easier. Another would be that someone told me, i should really be using a different radio and mic. which i agree with.

Out of personal experience can anyone suggest that something be in a different place? or replace something entirely? things like that

Yeah, make or get some mag pulls.

Hard to tell but do you have a hydration carrier on that rig? If not add that to the list.

of course. i have the reservoir, all i need is a carrier in MC.

about the magpuls, I figured out a way to mod the plates to work with the G&P midcap. but im scared of ruining good ranger plates, and even more afraid of stripping the threads both on the bolt and on the nut in the bottom of the "guts" of the mag. i cant decide if i should go the "badass" route and use all ranger plates, or go the safe route and use standard magpuls.
