Don't worry about giving Studdermonkey anything on the field. He never plays anyway.

Hey, I'm Grant and I just got out of the army national guard.  I've been into airsoft for a few years but I'm just starting to try and take it to another level.  I'm looking into getting an aeg, if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.  I'm also looking for some guys to play with in my area.  I live in Tempe but I'm willing to drive if I have to.  Thanks alot.
Grant

It was a medical discharge, I was in a year and was all ready to go to basic and had passed all the tests and training they do in the guard now before you go and I hurt my back.  They don't have any patience for anything back related so I got discharged.  Was a good experience though all the stuff they taught me on drill weekends was really good.  They "said" that what they teach at drill is 75% of what you learn at basic.  But I guess I'll never really find out haha. Really sucks that I got the boot cause of the injury but at least I volunteered to go and fight.

Its true, it gives you a big advantage over most of the active duty guys. You will already know how to deploy claymores, and other various tasks. What was your MOS? I am 11B, and AZSarge is a rotorhead, not sure about his MOS though(he works on Apaches).

Welcome to the party, bud!

I'll treat you like I treat any other military guy, because the discipline and self-sacrifice required to take that step is in any guy that signs the dotted line, whether or not they made it through.

Sorry to hear you couldn't continue.

Now, come out to an AA game and bring what you learned!
