Hey guys I just wanted to start a thread. I was trolling Google for things about Airsoft. I am getting a medical discharge from the military and will be back home in the sunny state of Arizona hopefully sooner than later.

I am coming back to AZ in Sept for some Leave so I might hit up some of the games you guys have going on.

Thanks Yea.. It's was not fun being out there.  I can't wait to be back in Arizona again .  How often do you all play Airsoft ? I find it addicting and I can't get enough. I was playing it with some friends when i was back on some leave in Az about 2 weeks ago.. Well that was a stupid idea because we were in a park after hours and Scottdale's finest decided to break it up and detain us lol.. Long story short lesson learned after a 118 dollar fine.

My friend who lives in Arizona plays with APD every Saturday I dont know where at though.

Do you guys have ref's for the games?

Silver..

Hi All! A "newbie" here...New to airsoft...Heard of it, never tried it until a couple a weeks ago when I got a cheapie from the gun show to plink around with. Then I started watching videos on youtube of battles and ops, now my interest has grown...Sounds like alot of fun and a good stress reliever! How often do you meet? Are there alot of places you have to operate in? How many players on average do you have show up to meets? Thanks for any info and hope to meet you soon! Also....Where in the valley can you buy Airsoft? I drove past where there was supposed to be Softair Depot and couldn't find it..??? Thanks again for any help! Steve

Hola gentlemen. Name's Sam, I walked into a Jungle Toy  in Phoenix yesterday to see what it was all about, and was pretty surprised. I ended up talking to the clerk for about a half hour about airsoft sports, I had no idea it had such a following. I was familiar with airsoft, but really always kinda thought it was a kids thing, until I saw some of the artillery this place was packing.

Just moved to Phoenix a few months ago, been looking for a hobby in my spare time, this looks like something I could definitely get into. Used to paintball in amateur leagues in highschool and some of college, but I got sick of giant inflatable obstacles, i'm much more fond of tactical assault and defense in forests, urban settings, etc.

So, anyone got any ideas for how I can best get started in here without feeling like too much of a n00b?

Read the noob guide: http://www.airsoftarizona.com/newbie_stuff/newbie_faq.htm

Find a mentor, gear up, and participate. After a few games you'll get an idea of what gear you like and don't like, so when you build up your first loadout you might want to stick to cheap and easy.

Hey guys, I'm Mike. I was into paintball a long time ago but I pretty much ended up stopping becuase its so damn expensive. I started airsoft a few years ago because a lot of my old freinds from paintball played, and its a lot cheaper and easier to go do. My buddies and I have skirmishes pretty regularly and I've been to a few marauders games.
