Greetings all,

The name is Jerry. The tag OldGameFreaK is from my love of video games and being in my late 30’s. (Very late 30’s). My son got me interested in Airsoft. Him and his friends like shooting at each other and have even built there own bunkers in one of there yards. I went into GearBox one day to ask some questions and bought him an Echo1 M4. I was looking for a backup for him a few weeks ago and ended up buying a used CA MP5 for myself.

I was an MP in the Guard and Reserve for 9 years. Qualified expert on everything I got my hands on (M-16, M-203, M-9, 1911 and the M-60). I was on a combat machinegun team (competition team) for about 4 years. I would like to finish getting my gear and get into some CQB / Mount type games. I am also looking into getting a G3 for longer range games.

I got on the sight due to a recommendation by the guys at GearBox.

*Salutes* I need to get my dad a rifle!

Your story is great. Reminded of all the crap my dad
put up with and my airsoft exploits!

 "..Can't beat em, join em!"

Needless to say, Ive been in airsoft for almost a decade. I
keep my collection manageable and strictly to c02 gas classic
SMG and rifles. Im sure the market is dominated by AEGs and
I hope classics aren't frowned upon locally...

I currently run a modified JAC preban green Steyr AUGa1 with
Asahi internals snugged inside and a external c02 rig. Also, have
a few more but ..this is my primary and has been so faithful.
Capable of 330-385fps @ 55-80psi.

Nah, classics aren't frowned upon.

That's a slick gun, didn't that belong to Paul Whitney at one point?

Any other classics?

Ya know! Ive tried to find out who built the AUG since I
got it last year, Im impressed! But, yes.. I purchased it from
Paul Febuary of last year.  Performs marvelous, I was going
to have a tightbore LRB installed.. later down the road.

Other classics: JAC Mp5a5, Maruzen Steyr AUG (black)
the JAC/Asahi AUG (above) and a MGC hi-cap 1911.

 All are operational  8)

I have 2 more pending deals, so Ill refrain from mentioning
them until I posess them! Your on Classicairsoft.net too right?

Ive been a member since 2003!

Wow! Please tell me I won't be shot with the Kokusai

I adore the Escort units as well, Im leaning toward
obtaining one shortly. Are you attending any of the
ops comming up?

Id love to actually see a Crimebuster in person!
Good luck on the HK too! Very nice collection!

I just purchased my first AEG, Echo 1 M14 RIS.  I am looking to get into this sport however I work weekends.  I notice that most games are played on Sat or Sun.  If anyone has something going during the week let me know.  Outside of that, I am just another new guy who likes military weapons.
