Hey Everyone, Names Mannie, been in the sport since I was 16 and have been in love with it ever since. I was livin in Colorado and have played in a variety of games rangin from small skirmishes to indoor CQB and large full scale ops, even played in a WWII game when I went through my TM Thompson phase. I have owned several guns, the TM Thompson mentioned above, a ICS MP5, KJW M700 (my room mate stole it) CA M15A4, G&G M14. I have gotten rid of them all and now just have a G&P M4 Special Forces and a Echo 1 M249 MKII on the way. Was in the Army only completed BCT tho cause they kicked me out due to Asthma :( , damn Kentucky Humidity. Well anyways lookin forward to playing in future games with you all

Hi everyone ! I've been in the Army for the past 6 years and currently stationed in Germany. I've been playing airsoft off and on since 1998. It's amazing how much it has evolved. I have family in Tempe, Mesa, and Phoenix. I own a couple of guns, but they are hard to come by, since airsoft is incredibly overpriced here in Germany, not to mention that Germany has some really weird laws regarding airsoft.

BTW, I'll be in the Tempe/Phoenix area in mid April. Are there any good local shops I should know about ? Thanks

 Welcome Olaf,

Glad to have another military guy around the forums, and yes!
The sport has evolved so much.. It's slowly growing to be a household
name like ..paintball!

Nothing new retailer wise, they closed the Command Post
in Tempe (Alma & Baseline) a year or 2 ago, they closed the
ADP store in Scottsdale recently, and that is about it.

I get all my gear from private sellers anyway  :P

Welcome and hope the return to AZ is a safe one!

UDT, do you not know of Gearbox Airsoft in Tempe on the SE corner of Southern and McClintock?  Its in the old Jungle Toy location (still has the JT sign out front).  They have all the cool high end stuff!

So Olaf, when you get back to the states check them out.  Gearbox Airsoft is Airsofter1 recommended! [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]
