Introduction
« Reply #631 on: November 11, 2007, 11:26:04 AM »
Hello all,

I would like to introduce myself,  my name is Ross and I live in Mesa.  I am a former Navy Corpsman (green side) and a former paintball player. I got out of paintball with the advent of speedball and the concept of accuracy by volume.  Getting whacked 40 times by a 10 year old with a rich mommy and a 1800 dollar marker is pretty stupid.  Sorry, just my opinion.  I am looking for the ability to get my "fix" shall we say for the things I miss from the military, ie. the tactical aspect and camaraderie with other adults with similar interests.  Hope to get to play soon.

I am currently working on putting my kit together.  Thus far I only have an AEG, it is an Echo 1 G36C, and I know that it is not the highest end AEG but it functions well and I am happy with it.  Look forward to meeting you all either through the forum or in my sight picture, uh, err, I mean face to face..

Ross

Ross,

If you have any old gear (i.e. ALICE) then that should work, in the interim. Don't feel pressured into thinking you need a whole bunch of MOLLE gear from the get go.

Good day from sunny San Diego.  My name is Lawrence and have been playing airsoft going on 3 years.  I am currently attached to a SoCal team by the name of Omega Force.  My team and I have played with a few of you at OPLC V and VI and look forward to VII.

Anyway, I am currently in the Marine Corps stationed at MCRD San Diego (no, I am not a Drill Instructor :D ).  Been in this gun club going on 10 years (Dec 2007).  Got my start in airsoft in Okinawa, JP (should have bought stuff while I was there when the dollar was freaking strong as hell).  I had the pleasure of living in the great state of Arizona from 1998 to 2002 when I was stationed in Yuma, AZ (heat is heat humid or dry).  Might be heading back out to Yuma some time next year, if I do not get my orders changed to go to 29 Palms...till then, look forward to seeing some of you again at the next big op.

hey there, I just joined the forum.  I moved to AZ from Chicago, and have been searching for places to play since I got here.  It looks like you guys host some big events on your calender, but I was also wondering if there were any smaller parks around the tempe or wickenburg area.  Look forward to seeing some of you at upcoming events.  Any help in my search would be great.

There are no small games held inside the phoenix metro area. Most games take place outside of town. I believe we have some on the west side every once in a while but noting as far as wickenburg. Watch the event schedule and attend one that you can make it out to.

Welcome!

Airsoft = driving "long" distances.  No way around it.

Hello all, I first registered here a while back but finally got myself a GBB
to start out with. I notice there are quite a few games in the 4 peaks area
and I'd be interested in checking them out. Being that I basically only
have a sidearm and limited gear would I be welcome to check out or participate in any games?

I am a Soldier – US Army, ’90 – ‘93.  Spent some time in Iraq in 91.  I was a 19K [Armor Crewmen, M1A2].  I was a driver in DS and a gunner when I ETSed.  3rd Armor, 3-7 Cav during DS and 4th ID, 3-68 Armor at FT. Carson, CO for the rest.

Sun Devil soon after...

I'm just looking for something to do...  I have played a few games with borrowed equipment (thanks Jon) and now it's time to get some of my own.

I work in AJ.

I told Vince I would sign up and lurk around his forum nearly a year ago, then at LC6 I told him I would do it again.  Now I believe I have procrastinated enough, now that I am layed up with a broken leg and haven't played airsoft for a couple of months

All I really want is one of those Arizona Airsoft patches.....

I have been playing airsoft for seven years. started in college up in Utah, then moved to SD and linked up with the Roughnecks.  This is where I met Vince and a couple of the other guys from arizona airsoft. cool stand up guys except Vince of course.

I've had a crap load of gear, and sold most of it for a few select loadouts.

I have also bought and sold many airsoft guns, and currently own 7... I Think

My current pride and joy is my Systema PTW, the thing is a tank of airsoft guns.  It has it's issues but is a damn fine gun. I have run it for almost two years straight and it is still going stong.

Anthing else you want to know just ask.

Hey I'm Bryce in real, yea I'm young but I've been airsofting for around 3 years I tried paintball but it wasnt really my thing.  I'm just now starting to get serious about airsofting.  My dad has some real steels and we're both in the NRA (Me Jr.) duh.  I have a CA M15A4 with m120 and tightbore.  It's awsome and shoots really good.  I plan on going to the Navel academy Marine Branch and then joining the Marines.  I've had alot of fam in the Marines so yea I'm interested.  So whats up?
