I'm 25 paintballed once, only airsoft I've touched is the pistol my dad bought to shoot pigeons out of his back yard. Was referred by a group of friends, and my wife gave me permission to get me some gear (yes!). In the winter we will be heading up north to go out in the woods, and durring the winter we are going to head to our friends' abandoned four-story hotel/restraunt. Hoping for a Real-Life Call of Duty experience and to get out of the house with some guys. I don't know anything about the gear and will be needing an Airsoft 101 crash course. Any suggestions?

First dont go crazy buying stuff.
Just get a AEG rifle and one high cap mag.
look in the sales forum, might find a good deal.
DOnt even buy a vest, or mag holders.
You dont even need BDU's.  I see guys wear street clothes all the time.
Allied surplus sells used BDU's at about half the price of new.
A mask is a must, sealed eye protection is manditory on most fields.
I have a full mask to protect my teeth, If you get shot in the teeth they will break.

One and only good rule, call your hits.  Game is not much fun, when you got two supermen running around, acting like they never get hit.

Just get out and play.

There are a few fields,
1.  Fightertown (5 fields, 1 huge, swat house, and more) Love it
2.  Fort Adobe (1 large open fields, and 1 team death match field) Like it
3.  Vanguard (mostly for little kids)(small warehouse) Never go again

Hey everyone, my name is Nick and I'm 14. I live in tucson and i have a team (7th Airsoft Corps) I've been playing airsoft for about 2 years now. From Tucson, I would say I'm a fairly serious player. I play skirmishes often and occasionally play at toxic. I've never played at a milsim event but I hope to soon.

I've just started looking at the sport of airsoft and would really like to join in on all the fun, but iI have no guns and have never had a job so I can support it right now unless someone helps me out but the fields are 50+ miles from and I know of only two.

Hey guys im old to airsoft but new to computers been airsofting since 2000 still use the TM AUG i bought back then :D I dont mind open field games but prefer to skip the walking and start where we can see each other then go kill them.  :) I consider my self an assault player but like my AUG's exended 650mm barrel for reaching out to touch people. A couple of years ago i got tired of other peoples fields so some friends and i started our own in tucson you may have heard of Toxic if not PM me with any questions. anyway see you guys around the forums  8)

Hey everyone I'm Jared "Persian" I'm 23
Just moved down to Mesa from Northern Utah and now i'm looking for a team to play on.
I've been playing off and on for about 4 years, and then the past 8 months I got on a good team (CVAirsoft.com) and played every week all over northern Utah.
Depending on the field I will run one of 3 guns, Sniper (fully upgraded Socom R700 w/.36), Assault KWA RIS M4 (upgraded barrel and Bucking, w/.23s), Or CQB TM Aug (w/.20s),  I'm also a convert to Multi-Cam and will never go back lol :D

I'm looking for a team that likes to play well and often and has fun. I'm willing to travel on weekends to games.
So hit me up and it'll be great playing again.
