Hello,

I'm brand new to the airsoft scene, but I have been through paintball, took small arms training, just took up bow hunting last year, and have a craving for all things military. Airsoft seems like it will be just up my alley. Originally, I found it to be a sissy sport, where it solely relied on an honor system for hits -- hence my experience in paintball. As we all know, after a certain political figure made it into office, the economy got shaken and prices went on the rise. My main passion for firearms was crippled drastically by ammunition shortages. Rising prices and companies cutting employees to stay afloat robbed me of my paintball budget. For a while it was all work and no play.

Now that things are looking better -- although ammunition is still scarce -- I have been enlightened to the idea of airsoft in its growing popularity. Several friends and I have committed ourselves to purchasing gear and starting up a fire team. Our driving force behind this idea has named our team, "Kogarasumaru", which some may have heard from the anime Air Gear.

As of now, we have myself as team lead/ point rifleman with a CYMA M14 SOCOM AEG, P229 KWC GBB sidearm (few springers depending on variables). The man with the idea as possible team lead/backup rifleman sporting a JG AK 74 AEG with Colt 1911 style springer side arm. My buddy with a KWC P90 AEG and Colt 1911 springer in support. Our assisting support with a Mini M4 AEG. Lastly, our femme fatal who has yet to commit to a specific weapon of choice, but is keen at stealth. Possibly more members in time.

So as I finish my introduction of this new team, I would like to say it's nice to be a part of this growing community, and I am open to any information, challenges, or interested parties. Please feel free to give any forms of advice or feedback.

I look forward to seeing some of you on the field!

Hello, I made a introduction topic, but I wasn't sure if I should have replied here first, so I am replying here now.

I have never played air-soft before, but I have played paintball a few times (three times actually), Handle my own bootcamp training which doesn't really count for anything, practice secret missions on my own (in case i got separated from my team, and had to survive on my own), and I am interested in joining the military soon (Maybe after my AA degree, which then I can get help on furthering my education.) I really hope to learn more about guns, and increase my training, maybe make a few friends along the way.

I have officially decided to have my code name, Anonymous Toys. Why? because it's different, and Anonymous Toys fits my personality. How does it fit you ask? If I told you, it would ruin the fun.

I speak Japanese. (enough to save my bum.) I am learning spanish, french, korean, and Chinese. <3 fun right! I actually found out at the college i go to they offer german classes, so i will be taking german during the summer or next year. It all depends on how well i am doing in my classes. :D btw i hold a 3.7 GPA <3 i am very smart in certain areas.

I don't think i mention this, but I am 18, and i am one of few girl air-softees. I am also a bit awkward. It's not that I make things awkward, it's that I say pretty awkward things, for example I talk about how cute dead things/people are. Most people I know find it a bit creepy.

:D i look forward to shooting you everyone at least once. <3

Hello,

I'm Wolf Bane, current head of the Kogarasumaru team. I'm 25 and work full time in the Industrial business. I Just started Airsoft and don't have too much experience with the sport. I have dabbled in other sports similar such as paintball. I am a hardcore military fanatic and I'm looking forward to some of the mil-sims I've seen posted here. I would like to get as much experience as possible, as to become a stronger reference for future players. I'm loaded out with basic gear, but I'm looking to grow that collection as well.

I will be seeing you guys on the field, and looking forward to being a part of the community!

Well, nice to have y'all aboard! As far as teams go, don't expect much in the way of recruiting, except the Vanguard "teams. Just get out and play. You'll be fine.

Hey everyone. I have been playing airsoft for about two months. I usualy play at Fear Farm. Before this I played a lot of paintball. Afriend of mine invited me to play airsoft and I figured out I liked it more than paintball. So I am here because I am getting more into airsoft. I just purchased a M16 which is a big upgrade from my See through 149 fps gun. I have also started posting videos of airsoft and paintball on leddagger16 on youtube. Thats just a little about me.

Hey everybody, I'm somewhat new the the airsoft sport, been doing it for about a year. I am the current Arizona State Smallbore Rifle Champion, so naturally I'm into the sniper/dm role. Looking to get into a team, nothing super serious, just want to have some fun. :) I know a ton about real steel and am always learning more about airsoft.
