I understand that you want "realism" to your uniform, but ask yourself this: can I do the same thing with Olive Drab? I know what your trying to do, but can't you sacrifice a little realism for some usefulness?

I could wear a white Hellcat, Gold piss-pot and some Shell-toes to a game.

That would be unique, but it would also look silly, just like the uniform you described.

Guys it is simple.

Some want realism and will wear specific uniforms.

Others will wear what looks cool.

Some want to get as dirty as possible.

Others faint at the sight of a piece of lint on their gear

Unfortunately, several of you jump on those who want to be different. If it is not your style then don't comment or at least be respectfully objective in your comments.

As for those who post please be aware that some may not have the same ideals as you and you should ignore any lack of respect or ignorance on their part.

I'm only glad the lack of respect and honor towards each other is only on the forums. And yes it is an open forum and every has the right to make an A** of themselves... I mean express their opinion.

Please stay on topic, stay professional, and refrain from wearing emotions on your sleeve.

Exactly, Mark!  Let's turn it into a haven for retards.

"I'll take my lame ass to the AA boards where I'll be embraced for my individuality!"

Besides bro, he asked for our opinion.  He knew what he was getting into.

To be more topic-friendly, let me continue.

If you want something individual, and unique, how about the following:
-Authentic fallschirmjager uniform
-Alternate History uniforms.  (Think civil war meets OIF).  Get some grey BDUs and RAID mod them, throw on a confederate flag and use a mix of modern gear and vintage stuff.
-Video game/movie characters.  Get a uniform like the S.T.A.R.S. or Umbrella Corp. characters in Resident Evil 2 or  your favorite action movie.
-Civilian Contractor/PSD uniform.  Jeans or cargo pants, polo shirt or t-shirt, sunglasses, a high-speed deuce kit, and either an AK or pimped M4.  Think - if someone asked you to go overseas and kill people for money, what you you wear?
-OPFOR outfits.  Go shopping at Arab World, and use an AK.  Wear some MC Hammer pants and an old Stussy t-shirt with some holes in it.  ChiCom chest rig, converse all-stars, and an AK with stickers on it.  Think - If I were a kid living in some sh*thole country in the middle of a civil war, what would I wear?

Get creative.  Remember, it's all in the details!

A few things

From me, the Mod:
1)  I deleted a few non-pertinent posts.
2)  Keep the bickering to a minimum, and keep the posts related to the topic (not your opiniion of what was said).

From me, the fellow AA member:
1)  Next time you ask for someones opinion, be prepared for the answer!
2)  Quit getting so agitated by other peoples negative comments.

i was sitting in class today and i had a change of heart. total replication of a fallschirmjager unifrom would look cooler, granted this one will be quite pricey but it'll be worth the wait to make this authentic. ill just have to find affordable german reproduction ww2 gear. i ordered the jumpsmock today though
