As soon as I saw the title I couldn't help but roll my eyes and think "here we go again!" but, I am impressed by this thread. I know some people my age that are not mature enough (by my judgment) to play airsoft and there are others that I find that more than qualify (again by my judgment) to play, so I think the rules how they stand now are fine because you can't know how mature someone is by their conduct on an internet forum.

I can't wait till I can go to my first game and meet all you guys in person. I'm waiting for my 16th birthday to get an AEG and come out and play but for now I'm just fine using the forum and learning and thing or two. And also by my 16th birthday my dad will be back from Iraq and he will be more than glad to get an AEG himself and come play as well. Would I need an AA sponsor if my dad and I were to play with me?

Ok nevermind, I checked the rules again. But if I'm not mistaken, your statement come off a little rough. Hey man just be cool, ok? 8)

*Cuss if you get hit and it hurts, but not every .002 secs, or others are gonna cuss also.
*have fun, and its game, so chill and fire away!

Good points on this thread.

azsarge has always seemed like a brother to me (We are both skinny tall guys, and the way he gives me crap) I've cut back (as most of you know) on airsoft for the time being, simply because I'm not able to have the luxury of being 15 again without a care in the world. I miss the games I went to, but will be sure to catch a few more.

With that being said, this is one of the much much better threads about minors.

Hey has anyone ever thought of making a "minor league" branch of AA. just a thought but i think with maybe 1 or 2 adults we could have just as much fun. i can understand where you adults are coming from even though i dont't agree completely. its just a thought but put it into consideration. O.K.

I doubt that would happen, but even if it did, it would likely be limited to like 16 and 17 year olds.

plus i doubt anyone is going to want to babysit.  heh.

No, no it's not. Wait until you're 16 or 17 to start playing and getting involved, that's what I should have done.

You will never see a leage of minors endorsed by AA in any way.

AA is an organiation that promotes the growth of airsoft in Arizona through the use of it's forums and 18+ games held every month.

If you want to play with other kids, go right ahead!  Use the forums here to announce a game for all ages, and have a ball.  Just don't expect to have many adults there.

Why? The growth of the sport depends on young people getting involved early. Just because they can't play in official games does not mean they should be totally black balled. Heck, if you think they aren't mature yet, take them under your wing and teach them how to play and be mature. Don't just shoo them away because that is what leads to young kids shooting each others eyes out because they didn't know, which is ultimately what will bring our community to its knees.

True.

And if you're 14 and under, no matter what you think.. you're going to act like a child, and play like a child. Don't give us (me) any of that "but thats ghey" crud, because that's the facts.. you're just not mature enough yet.

Plus, I don't know about you guys.. but if I saw someone that I think is like.. 14 and under, I'll hesitate the hell out of shooting.. I know they know they're there to get shot, but they'd probly be new, and they might cry and crap.. and I don't wanna have that happen.
