Are these any good?

I first saw these on ebay, then checked the web and found several places that sell them. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about them?
(Other than what's in the description)

I know there was a thread with some heated discussion. I believe the consensus was that they were too expensive because they are not reusable. The only way they become cost effective is if someone can get a dealer discount.

Cool Thanks. Just wanted to know if it was worth it. Guess I'll stick with ASMO.

I saw these a while ago, if you go to the website link that is provided in the Ebay info section you can find a warning sheet posted there. The website is in Spain and I think this is where they are made. Anyway they have a warning of possible hearing damage if one of these things goes off near you ear or ears.  They are basically small pressure bombs when it comes down to how they work.  Although I know you can buy replacement shells and reuse the center fire pin system.

Why not buy a few and try them?  7 bucks is not that much if they end up being really cool!

I downloaded the video for them. They do have quite a bang to them (if the video is accurate). However I can see a major problem with them.... $ cost $. Even though they have replacement bodies.

ASMO looks like they may be better as far as constant use, the AG-01 seems to be better for the big games.

Hmmmm might pick up a couple for testing purposes, and reviews.

$7 bucks big deal!!! Cost... you guys got to be kidding me? How much do you spend on ammo alone? How often are you actualy put in a position, in where a nade has to be used?

You guys only live once in life, live it to its fullest and go all out!!!  There is my 2 cents!!!

First OP I used the grenades I got two kills, Greg got two kills with one grenade.  They are PERFECT when people are dug in.  True you'll use your AEG 99% of the time, but for clearing a building or getting a guy on the other side of a hill there is nothing better. I bought three grenades and two flashbangs.

They seem pretty cool to me.  I commend anyone willing to spend a little extra cash to make our overall experiences a little more fun.

If I remember correctly you bought the ASMO's right? What do you think of them?

These solve the fundamental problem that I have had with airsoft grenades thus far.

Let me ask you a question.  When playing, how do you know when you're dead?  Because you get hit by a BB, thats why!  Why should it be any different for airsoft grenades?!

Initially, I saw a serious issue with the rubber grenades in this respect but have since grown to love them because there simply was nothing else.  In a real battle, I would NEVER be without a few frags.  In airsoft, I find them very useful for bridging that gap cause by the lack of penetration through foliage by a BB alone.

Now that these have arrived, I think we need to start a transition.  The probelm right now is that we will have both grenades.  As long as people are going to be allowed to use rubber frags, I don't see the point in using the more realistic variety discussed here.

Is one or the other, but I like the BB-tossing type much better!

Also, I see the money issue as a perk.  If they were dirt cheap, we'd be having frag wars, which is completely unrealstic.  Even now, I often see frags used when a BB would suffice.  Sometimes people use the grenades simply to justify the cost and possession.

Well, either way there's your result - An entire thread about the ASMO grenades.  Sometimes you have to browse through the older threads in addition to the search feature.
