I have left my water in there up to a month, and not had to clean it. When I took it out, it looked fine, so I gave it a taste, and it tasted like I had just filled it.

hell i havnt ever cleaned mine :) but thats because I'm just to Ghetto to afford a brush :) and it is still a chugginafter 4 years.

For the price, water and miscellaneous storage capacity with compact size and availability in OD, I still prefer the Hydrastorm Tsunami.  But really, whatever you like best, go for it.  Camelbak or Hydrastorm, they beat the hell out of carrying around a bunch of canteens.

I would like the CamelBak HAWG if it came in OD.

Why not just buy a 3 day pack or a raid Pack and stick a hydro in there? Same thing...

But atleast you have good quality, not that Nytaneon crap. I hate the feel of Nytaneon, it feels like its dipped in superglue.

Eagle A-III packs go for about $120, and SpecOps THE Pack about $130-$150.  Add a 102oz reservoir for $25.00 and you're looking at about $140 for a pack comparable in size to the Camelbak Motherlode, and both packs are made in the US.  Camelbak's are sewn in the Philippines.

THE packs cost 99 bucks at AAFES.

Busta, your suggestion may work for some.  For others, good luck getting your hands on a RAID that you didn't have to wait 4 months for!

I like my BL Hydration Patrol Pack.  Perfect size, and nice features.  Downsides?  A bit expensive at 75 retail and no straps for use as a stand-alone pack.  

Then again, If I need a stand-alone hydration system, it means I'm hiking or M Biking and my civvie CB will do.  Whenever I need storage and hydro at once, I'm wearing my full kit.
