Customized M203...
« on: June 01, 2005, 05:34:21 AM »
I had an old rifle stock sitting around and thought maybe just maybe turning my 203 into a kind of shotgun would be cool.....so all in all when all the work was finished I decided it came out rather cool (unfortunately no pics) what I'm curious about is, if I were to use it as an weapon on an assault team what BB count would be the best for the grenades, and roughly how many should I carry to make it worth while (I'm thinkin' somewhere around 40bbs per grenade and carrying about 6 of 'em)

I just picked up a M-79 at Jungletoy with a sawed-off pistol grip stock and I've got the same questions.

What is today, but yesterday\'s tomorrow.

It takes balls to take an AEG with a springer.

Mooncruiser, after talking it over with my brother we figured the Mad Bull m433 round would be the best at 43 BBs, and they sell them at Jungletoy

I'm thinking of carrying 7 myself one in chamber two on the stock and four in my harness....though that's about $500 so it might be a while before I buy that many...

I've seen them online up to 165rd. and all within 10-15.00 of each other.

I think I'll carry two rounds. The M-79 I have is not my primary weapon, and I can't see having that many opponents in one spot to use it much. Maybe some really big outdoor game..

I figure it'll get used as a room clearing tool mostly.

I'm in the process of getting a claymore command-detonated mine, which would make for a good running ambush tool.

Thanks for the advice,
Chip
