What's the rush to have a pistol? I have yet to have to use my pistol in a game. The only reason I got one was cause it was recommended in the "newbie gear guide". I've only used it once in a CQB senario. I'm sure you will be thanking yourself that you have one if your gun malfunctions. But it is not a necessary to have one.

Save your money for a good GBB (gas blow back)!!You'll appreciate the realism and performance more.

Show up to a game, ask people to look at their guns, shoot them (most people won't mind) look at gear, ask questions and THEN go and buy one.  Look at the GBB's, AEG's all the sh1t people bring, saves you going to a store and allows you to try a couple of shots first.

Aye, unfortunately I couldn't make the last major game and didn't see any up and coming (The June calendar is empty)

As for going to a store I have yet to find mention of a brick/mortar airsoft store in the Phx area. If I could find one i'd gladly visit and spend money there, lol

JungleToy has a Phoenix location. It is located on the NW corner of 35th Ave and Northern Ave. It is an AWESOME place. Go in there and just start asking questions, you will soon discover all the answers you desire, young grasshopper :P.

I really like the Jungletoy store in Phoenix. Jeremiah and Ron will set you up right.

My GBB Glock pistol actually shoots harder than my AEG M-16. Plus, the Glock isn't near as heavy to carry.

Good luck.

Actually it's on the SW corner, close to the furniture store.

This is in the spring section so I will recomend a spring handgun.  I would go with any TM HGHU (Tokyo Marui, High Grade, Hop-Up).  Specificaly the Mk23 SOCOM.  It out ranges most high grade spring rifles.

I'm looking to get a cheap spring pistol as a backup to my AEG (Newbie just starting out, can't really afford a gas pistol for just a backup gun right now). Didn't see much about springs in the newbie or gear guides.

Yes, I know the drawbacks on springers, but to me the drawbacks of not having a backup weapon at all are far higher.

Looking to stay under 50$, and i'm also curious if the same styles in spring pistols are available in gas so I don't have to change out my holster at a later date.

Thanks

I know you might say "yeah right that's crazy.." but the P226 at Big 5 is usually $40 and is on sale alot for $20, and goes 292 FPS, the clip might break, but it's $10 for 2. it has good acuracy and goes pretty far.

Do you always make fun of a poor childs education lacking, how sad   jk! Anyways,  after you fill the clip, put the clip in the grip through the bottom, cock it, and then pull the trigger, the bb comes out of the barrel going 292 feet per second! Hope that cleared it up!
