Laser Sight?
« on: June 03, 2005, 09:13:45 PM »
I just got a KJW M-9 the other day, it came with  a laser sight and a mount.
I am wondering if anyone knows the best way to get the laser to point at the spot where you are sighting the gun.
I have the laser rotated so the point is directly in front of me, however it is too high, and is way above my aim point>

Any idea's?

Dial it  down? Honestly you will never use that laser at any airsoft game...We rarely play early or late enough and if we do, guns arent accurate to that small of an area.

Personally, the laser may look cool, but ditch it. Lasers work both ways my friend, just like flashlights.

Which laser sight came with it?

A laser can be used to distract a opponent while others sneak into position. Suffice to say it's gotta be pretty dark, and the laser is just momentairly turned on and off.. -Target ranging without giving the laser user's position away much.

Limited, but another tool for the right situation.

Flashlights -Also will give you away but if again, -you use it intermitantly and MOVE.. It locates the target as well as offer a steady rest for shooting a pistol. Just ..flash, off, move, flash..

do that at a game, you'll think differently. Last night game I played in, someone did that, as soon as i saw the light, i shot them with a burst on full auto(did that to two people in fact). The only time that remotely works is if you ambush someone.

ah...haha.

Laser sights might work well for CBQ. But we don't have a CBQ AO now do we? Either way I've never, ever seen a laser sight that was worth the money. Most just don't even work. (unless of course you've got tons of money to burn)

Sorry for the delay in answering you.

The gun is a M-9 from JT, and it was a pack with goggles, extra clip, and BB's, the laser sight is a an unknown brand (at least to me) and mounts under the front of the gun with included clips, it has a thumb control with it for on/off. It weighs NOTHING and works just fine.
