***Planning an op for the thanksgiving weekend, still a little bit of a work in progress but here is the basic idea thus far...will update when the ideas flesh out***

INFO
Place---Hind's Hill
When---Nov,26-05
M&G---Avra Valley and I-10 exit 6:00-6:30am
Start time---7:30am

Scenario---The game will start with the terrorist holding the hill, the Mercenary force is to attempt to gain control of the hill, if at anytime to mercenaries take control of the hill it is up to the terrorist to regain control. This is a trigger time scenario with no official winners, the idea is to come out have fun and just keep on playing. The game will run straight for roughly 4 hours and respawns will be active, with a small hitch. Respawning revolves around a bannerman, the bannerman will be the highest ranking individual on each team (1 per team), the goal of the respawning individual is to reach the bannerman and touch his shoulder, at this point the bannerman has the option of passing the banner on to the respawning idividual. Bannermen may not enter the facility at anytime and if the bannerman is taken out the banner is out of the game for ten minutes at which point the bannerman resapawns at a predetermined point.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

Yeah Mugen, but according to the recent info from the TAC website, now the game is going to be Staurday at around 830 am at Sudden Impact.  I was hoping one of the Tucson guys involved in all this could just confirm the details.

I think we all should go out and play at avra valley road. I dont feel like playing at crappy paintball headquarters. Paying for gas is cheaper then playing at pb hq. So lets play out at avra valley.

Right now, it stands at PBHQ.  Personally, I like playing at that location given the diverse layout and attention to safety.

Great.  Now it sounds like we have 2 games going on, at the same time, same day, in roughly the same city.  Any word on Sudden Impact, or is the Avra Valley AO now what we're all going for?

Sudden Impact is still a GO. 0830 start time, gate fee is 15 bux.

You will receive a coupon good for 5000 rounds at any of the two PBHQ stores in Tucson (worth 12 bux).

See http://www.tucsoncoalition.com/modules. ... topic&t=95 for details (especially the more recent posts)

The <whatever> Hill site was scrapped due to some reticence about crossing State Trust land to get to the BLM area - projectile replica weapons (paintball, airsoft, etc) are illegal for use on State Trust land, and simply having on in your possession, regardless of where you "plan" to use it, can lead to citation and or confiscation. All you need is an uninformed of p*ssed-off cop and....

PBHQ is currently constructing a Vietnam-style firebase in the rear of their field - unsure if it's going to be done in time for the game or Red Sleigh Down in December.

You know, out of respect for AA I always try to put my games (when possible) on a different day from theirs. I don't intentionally screw with other people's games. But so be it. If that's how you guys want to get players, have fun.

You must have missed my thread on the TAC website where I spoke about how a buddy of mine I used to airsoft with in Reno just had one of his games interrupted by Reno county cops and EVERYONE present got a $500 ticket.

We're trying to get some legitimacy to the sport here; if all we do is sneak around state land, I don't see that as very legit.

Anyhow, on to the Sudden Impact game: There is a $5 discount if you bring a canned food donation with you this saturday. We are still GO for ops, meetup time is at 0830. Games start at 0900-0930, and we continue till about 1300 or 1400.
