edit: I was just informed, in this case, it was Dead Zone. Typically a DZ is a dropzone.

A major flaw that wasen't told to all players. And way to close to I-83 south. some crap happens let it go.
the DZ set up was wierd. " dead zone."near the cars. equaling to fair game opertunitys.

Busta know this stuff, He went out after being hit. Some mass confusion between who was hit and not going out, I bet the main cause was too many freaking bugs. and the guy who got tked in the back of the head. That damn sucked for him.

No,

I had a great time despite getting a little dehydrated and missing the turnoff on the way there. The only real reason that these complaints are arising, was because of the heat, and peoples oppinions of others based on the forums. Some people have never played with other people that were there, and the only way they knew about eachother was though the forums. If the only way you get to know someone is through the forums, and not getting to know them in person, then it can lead to assumptions towards their attitudes that might not personably be true. Just because you hear what others say about someone or a certain team, just try to keep an open mind about them until you have met them in reality. This game was also plagued by the summer heat, and maybe we could have been a little more efficient between scenerios. I think 15 mins is a good time for eveyone to get re hydrated, and ready for another game. Maybe next time we can have someone who is willing to keep track of time during intermissions, and announce when its time for everone to move out. But in all, I dont think is was that bad of a game. I really enjoyed seeing some familiar faces and s alot of new faces from AA, and I more than look forward to seeing them down here in the future.

Busta, If you dont think that some people were playing fairly, then dont hold it against the whole of SATAC and refuse to come to our events. Work out your problems with the individauls, so the rest of us dont take the blame. Thanks.

In the service we lived, shat, ate, slept, and everything else as a team. Yeah, we hated each other and more than one blanket party came from farts in the tent, but we moved like one body, and would trust any other teamie behind us in a live fire... if I had a problem in the field I dont think I would leave the field until it was resolved though. And I expect the same from anyone I run with. Just so y'all know.... DH

I dont think you heard me correctly, I just don't like how SATAC runs things...yes i do have problems with some specific members...but I could care less what most of them think.. I know now(not just from talking to others)that SATAC events aren't worth the drive. Simple as that.

Ok, this seems to be the shame shit over and over again.  But let me break some of it down.

A.  YOu cannot generalize an entire team because of players who attended the game who did not follow all of the rules (i.e. calling shots.... I can say that at no point did any of my team mates that i was in proximity of call out any shots..... but i heard them every once in a while from BOTH sides).

B.  You cannot be biased to a team because of personal grudges against players belonging to that team.

C.  Every game has its flaws... just because of a personal grudge, you have no reason to pick apart every flaw and blow the entire thing out of proportion.

Here are a few problems that i picked up on immediatly.

The respawn was not set up correctly.... common problem.  I don't care for respawns because of this.

There was to much time between games... Even though it was blistering hot and people had to hydrate, it was a bit to long.  But this is one of those "flaws" i was talking about.

The heat did have an effect on moral and performance.. as well as judgement.  Thats why we tried to get an early morning start.  THough it heated up WAY to fast!  (and if you were late there, then don't blame anyone but yourself).

People, despite team orientation, were not following the call rules.  SHit... I mean... just shot them until they cry if they don't call out the first time!  I heard both greens behind me, and tans just over to my left (who didnt know i was there...?) calling shots.  Just stating "you're dead, I hit you".  WHen sometimes, they really didn't.  Andother times, i'm sure that they did, but hey... its honor and some people just dont follow it all the time or else simply didnt feel the shot.

As for the chrono problem... there was one chrono out there, and the SATAC chrono decided to crap out on the field as we set it up (read :error:).

And the LZ rules STRICTLY said that anyone present in the LZ had to have the mag removed from their weapons and the gun on safety.  IN A GAME OR NOT.  So ya... self implied?  ya... if you're competent, it is.

With this I leave you.  I still had a nice time out there, despite having to leave early (work... fun!).  Got to see a lot of new faces (I think everyone did!), and got to talk to a lot of guys (even ones that in the past I have had stupid disagreements with ;) ).  So ya... good game or not in your book, it was still fun here!

SATAC is still a relitivley young group compared to AA, so we dont have things as organized and running as smoothley as them. We are still in the process of getting our act together, so just bare with us. Im sure that in the future, we will have just as good a reputation from AA as ony other arizona team. It IS really difficult to organize even a simple skirmish, and in this case I just think that bucket might have had his hands full trying to keep everything and everyone in order. There are alot of SATAC sponsered events in the past that were well worth the drive down from Phoenix. Such as Op innoculation, Dark Harvest, and others. So I hope that sometime in the future you will change your mind about SATAC and come down to play with us aagin.
