Im sorry, but this isn't helping.
This is how people form negative oppinions toward us. It dosent help matters to egg someone on when they've made up their mind. Try to be more tolerant of people even if you dont personally care for them. (I know how hard that can be). Im just tyring to keep this thread from becoming a huge meaningless argument.

There was to much time between games... Even though it was blistering hot and people had to hydrate

Why were these people not hydrating before and during the game?  That's just asking for trouble...

Guys, its AIRSOFT. Chill out. There is no reason to get into a hissy fit just because he cheated, and his gun was too hot, and blah, blah, blah. A game is a game, if you have a problem with a specific player, tell him your concerns to his face in a civilized manner. If you address him/her in this way, he/she will probably be better receptive to your criticisms. If you attack them on a personal level, they shut down. In addition, personal attacks on the forum should not be allowed. If you have an issue, PM or call that person with your complaints. Furthermore, the actions of a few should not lead to consequences of many. In the heat of a fire fight the adrenaline pumps and you/they may not feel hits. GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!! I mean, if you can get them once, you can get them again.

Have a nice day!

PS, Mugen - you are a badass bro!  I had a blast lighting people up with you and look forward to fighting alongside you in the near future.  (I was the tall skinny guy with the Tan baseball cap, Oakleys  and little M4.

Hel yeah!  I had a good time, although I had to leave a little early too(work)

I dunno what all the fuss is about..but I remember seeing alot of people having a good time...sure there will be some dissagreement wherever you go, but that is petty stuff and will be forgotten...all that matters is that we had fun and no one got injured or dead.  It was nice to have met all those that I see online in person, and am looking forward to playing again with ALL of you very soon.

Thanks to all of you for making this sport all the fun that it is!  WOO HOO!

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

There is a lot more to organizing games than people think, you are trying to make a wide variety of people happy, snipers, guys that like to ambush, new players, etc.  Rules I have tried to abide by:

1) Keep the AO sized for the number of players, I like trigger time, but don't like to see where my opponents are starting, I generally like to 'get my gun off' within the first 10min of a game

2) Minimize down time between games, this is an issue at EVERY game.  Best way is push people to get going "Shut up and load up" if three or four guys have gun issues, or need extra time, tell them to sitout that scenario.  Next time they'll be faster

3) Keep the game simple with no bottle necks (ie a single point a team needs to get to, basically alllows the other team to camp)

4) Listen to what players want, and players need to speak up during the game in a polite and professional manner.

I was at the event and tried to get the games going, its ALL of our responsibility to help out with games, don't lay all the work on a couple of induviduals.  I hear a lot of people talking about the down time between games but how many people walked up and mentioned it to the organizers.  Its not fair to post something after the event when you said nothing about it during the event.

Lets rack this game up to a learning experience, its not a waste if we learn and improve from it.

just my $0.02...

Like ANDYTAC, I mean Andy said, let's learn from the mistakes and go on.  Thanks to SATAC for taking the time to organize this one.  We need to work together to keep the sport fun.

Let's see a big turnout next week!  i'm looking forward to meeting some of the new guys!!

EDIT:  ANDYTAC= SWAIRTAC's only active player!!

Its called being biased, and for you to call me out of a game before even asking me or having any evidence at all besides someones comment..well thats just fucking lame. I wont be attending any SATAC sponsered events in the future.

Well Busta, that's the judges job sometimes.  It's not always pretty and its not always fair... but then again... neither is life.  The SATAC judge had to make a call and he made it, pure and simple.  And with the poor, unproffessional atitiude you present on the forum, it wouldn't suprise me if they we're possibly biased.  You gave a bad first impression before you even got out on to the field.

Off that subject, I'd like to say it was great skirmish.  I got to play with some people I havn't gotten to play with before, which was a treat.

Yes, the time in between games was long, but at the same time, I didn't mind as it gave me a chance to socialize with those who aren't normally down here.  Considering the heat, the extra downtime and rest was probably a good thing. :)

For those who had to drive all the way from Phoenix, I'm sorry you didn't get more game time in.  But, just to put it into perspective, normally us Tucson people are the one's being required to make that drive for 2.5+ hours, so we know how it feels all too well.  ;)

Over all, thanks to everyone for coming out.  It was hot, it had its problems, but it was still a lot of fun and I'd gladly play with (or against) you guys again.  And a special thanks to those three green guys who were kind enough to give me thier 6 so I could shoot them in the back.  ;)

And thanks to Andy Hinds.  It was alot of fun actually being able to play on your side for a change.  :)

Oh, and thanks to SATAC for trying to put on this together even if it was a bit of a cluster frag.  Don't let it dicourage you guys.  Life happens.  ;)

I almost forgot.  Thank you Grenadier for letting me borrow the Thompson when my gun was acting up.  It's a sweet gun man.  You did a great job putting it together.  :)

Not to be cruel here and I am not trying to piss in anyone's wheaties.  But in light of the short game time, I have to say, I am glad i decided to blow it off. For me-the drive would ahve been solo and one of 3 hours. Thats a long way for short action.
Again, as I didnt make the trip I am not complaining, it looks like you all had a blast, and the field looked pretty cool.
I personally wished I had came down to play, but for future refence, with the high price of gas, we should aim for tightly coordinated games.
I mean isnt this MIL sim-sit and wait is normal for the Army, but not for A/A.

NEXT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Promise I will be at Florence game!!!!!!!!!
