What does the current roster of game sites lack?
« on: July 03, 2005, 10:15:34 PM »
Think about it for a second, other than the lack of a good CQB site, what's missing from the list of game locations?

Just curious, i'm seaching topo maps for new ideas.

I know a few lightly-used caves that could make for interesting CQB games.

How about the good ole Cajun House, er "Venue at Scottsdale" whatever they are calling it now?

I wouldn't mind shooting some people in the face at close quarters.

You need to find an area that is accessable by cars, close to Tucson and Phoenix, not overrun by paintballers/illegals/atv'rs and is SAFE (don't want a wall fall on somebody)

THICK woods I have found on the Rim by Bear Canyon lake, but noplace between Phoenix and Tucson. (For those of you not familiar with this lake it's rarely visited because you have to walk over a mile from the parking lot down to the lake, but the roads to it are decent.)

There's also a really nice area with heavy woods on either side of a flat area that has been clearcut for the highlines (Power lines), the flatland has almost no cover at all.

Tundra is easy, just not in the summer. ;)

The game sites are fine, for now, in my opinion. We have an awesome variety. That last AO, in the woods, Bushnell, 4 peaks, florence, etc. All awesome.

Four Peaks
Badger Springs
Bushnell Tanks
Prescott
Avra Valley
Florence
Missile Tank
Jomax, etc...

And to a lesser extent, Lone Mountain & The Ranch

And many more, I'm sure.  We actually do have quite a few places to go.
