I found when I'm runnung around a lot, it's impossible to not breath through my mouth. Yeah the possibilities of getting a tooth blown out (esspecially when you're running) are small, it's still possible.

So, I wear a woodland bandana around my face, instead of the stupid masks.

Yeah, I saw Bohdi wearing a bandana like that and I have been thinking about doing that instead of a half mask.  Looks like a great idea, how effective is it slowing down bbs so they dont hit your mouth as hard?

I know this may be a little out there, but how about a double mouth guard? Might even protect you from a BB flying down your throat.

Yeah, i'll probably go with the "half a ski mask" idea and goggles.

Well I've been hit in the jaw and the cheek bone. The bandana stopped them from peircing the skin, which I'm sure they would have, had I not been wearing it, cause I got pretty big welts on my face. But I'm sure it'll save me a tooth if I ever get hit in the mouth.

Bandanas offer better ventalation than the mask (which my Dad really complains about with his mask). And they allow you to breath fully through you mouth if you're out of breath from running (which a mouthgaurd also hinders, I've tried it).

All in all, the bandana works for me, I don't need anything else.

Buy a mask with a built in fan, stops it from fogging and keeps you kool!  8)

I guess the only question left would be where would you shop for an elastic mouth/nose covering, like a tan ski mask bottom.

Not exactly something i've had a pressing need for in the past, heh

Ok so will a balaclava with some goggles provide adequate protection for both my eyes and teeth?

I like the balaclava idea. Get a silk or polypro one and it'll be cooler.

I'm still a firm believer in face protection. I got shot in the chops recently, and it was hard enough to push the rubber mask against my teeth.

I fixed a wire JT mask by using Shoe Goo for a nose mold.
