Yeah, Im ashamed of myself for forgetting what this topic is really about...I have 2 good friends in England, one(thank god) lives out in the country area and he is fine, but our other friend lives in downtown london...and we haven't been able to reach him... :(

I found out about this when my aunt called me earlier.

I have one of my best friends in London right now.  She's due to fly out on Saturday, but I haven't heard from her in a while.  Which has all of my friends and me a little worried.  So ya... I hope to God that she's alright.

And to top that off, I'm due to fly out of town tomorrow.  Internationally.... this is quite delightful.

RIP to those who died.

MSNBC says in addition to the 37 confirmed killed, there are 700 people wounded. This attack certianly hurt a lot of people. I hope London can recover quickly and people can get back to their lives.

With luck, the authorities will find those individuals responsible for the act itself and nail them to the wall.

I don't want to sound prejudice, racist or any of the above. However, this is getting out of hand. We need to take some serious action here. Come on, we're the most powerful nation on Earth, yet we're allowing guerilla and suicide warfare slowly hurt us? This should be the final straw. Everyone needs to be in on this one, when they feel the world is pushing down on them for their incompetent actions, they will hopefully realize, that shit doesn't fly and give up, or they can dedicate their lives to their god and die like the terrorist scum they are.

I would agree they have always been behind us but that doesnt mean they agreed with what we where doing and why. Now this might give them some insight.  That what happening in the world can not be tolerated.

Greg, I'm surprised at your reaction to this conversation and I consider it unfortuante that you consider discussions regarding the approach our nation takes in response to acts of terrorism to be "petty forum squabbles" and "political hard-ons".  Particularly at a time such as this when it is so important that we discuss such issues.  That type of head-in-the-sand mentality is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place.  Well, that and a world full of a$$holes.
