Well, I would either take them to a gun show or an appraiser. Avoid the pawn shops though.
Why you would want to sell such things is beyond me, but those would be the places i'd go to.

As was said earlier get it appraised, man. There are alot of collectors on the web. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding one that's local to at least get an appraisers name and number from.

Besides the sentimental value could be worth more than the gear itself.

Well, like I said, take it to one of those places.
At a gun show look for someone selling or a dealer that is selling stuff from those eras and ask them, they should tell you for free.
Or take them to an appraiser, you'll have to pay him/her/them some money but they will give you the exact value.

Unfortunately, not much.

You can find all kinds of stuff on ebay these days dirt cheap.  I have all kinds of militaria that I thought was worth a pretty penny only to find it on ebay for half of what I paid in antique stores, surplus stores, etc a few years ago.

Like someone mentioned, the sentimental value is much greater than what you could sell it for.

After all, these guys that say they like to use older gear aren't "collectors," they're just cheap!

i have arrived...sks pouch is worth $20 tops. (chicom stuff is low brow)

the  ammo belt (im guessing m1 garand) is worth $120 if its in good shape

the 1945 canteen cup is probably in he ballpark of $20-30 (granted the hell isnt beat out of it)

on ebay you can get anything cheap, rarely is something sold for its true value either its way cheap or way too expensive. never compare the value of what you have to the value on ebay, use a blue book or ask a collector.

OK, so if it's "worth" 800 bucks, but you can only get 20 for it, it's only worth 20 bucks to me.

Sentimental value is another story.

And surplus man, so if you're a collector how come you were wearing current issue BDU pants and a t-shirt at the game?  I thought you liked to go for a certain "look" with your old gear.

Yes the ww2 ammo belt is for a garand and it been used so i would say moderate condition, the sks ammo pouch is a chest rig, and i dont want to sell it, and the belt looks like this one on this rig
