Well, it depends, in AEG's up to 390 fps I use .25... In an AEG past that, I would use .36... In my m40 I use .29 SGM's. In my pistol I use Matrix .2.

I use .20s in my G36c, gbb Para, and Mac-11

I use .25s in my, AR, SOCOM

the .20s hit fine and get a little more distance with less accuracy(the wind blows them off course..and have trouble penatrating bushes)...the .25s hit harder and are more accurate at distances.(fights thru wind and mince meats the bushes).but loose momentum from too far.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

SUPER GRAND MASTER .29! YEAH!

.. for when I snipe that is..

Edit: Reason - I think the main things for a sniper rifle is, range, and accuracy.
- Now I could use the .43 bb's and still have it be somewhat accurate (they are made bad, they arent as accurate as ppl say they are), but its so heavy.. it would mess with the range, the only good thing about them is they can break through bushes and the wind wont mess with them, but .29 is also like that, just not to that extent.
- The .29's are the best BB's ever made, thus the crazy price. They let me shoot just as accurate as the .43's if not more accurate, but at a longer range. if your rifle is 500 fps, and you use .29, hitting someone at 250 - 280 feet IS possible, with .43, 230 would be about your average.

I test my rifles in my yard, and from the bench that I shoot from to the wall is about 200 feet, give or take. When I had a stock inner barrel (6.05) it make it to the wall, but about 3 - 4 feet below where I wanted it to hit. The .29 would SMACK into the wall and not drop an inch.

.. Just thought you would like to know why I blow all my money on BB's.. :)

hmm.... I've never really played a game with .25's i've onyl shoot some. but it like you said you get about the same range , but the wind doesn't screw with them and they go through bushes plus you opponnet feels them more.

I typically use Excel .2 Bio's.  Reason is because most major ops will ONLY let you use Excel Bio's unless you're a sniper.  I figure its best to get used to the performance of those than use something else.

.25

You lose some distance, but are able to shoot guys that try to hide behind bushes (ie using concealment as cover).  They are not as affected by wind, rain, and foliage as .20.

In my opinion, .20s are for springers and for filling 203 shells, maybe shotguns.

I even use .25s in my M9.

Reaver, I have never been to a big OP that restricted my BB use.  AA has rules that state only excel BBs can be used because it says they are biodegradable on the bag.  I would hardly call an AA game a big OP.

Which out-of-state OPs have you been to that they told you what kind of ammo to use?
