WGC Shipping Time
« on: July 26, 2005, 04:54:11 PM »
This is for the ones who have ordered from WGC or other HK retailers recently:

I placed and order with WGC and it shipped out on 25 JUL, arrived in the states today, and here is the tracking page info:

Posting Date Posting Time   Drop-off Point   Destination   Destination
Post Code *
25-Jul-2005 20:19   Pick Up Service   United States of America   85335

Date # Location   Delivery Status
25-Jul-2005 Hong Kong   Item posted and is being processed.
25-Jul-2005 Hong Kong   Processed for departure.
25-Jul-2005 Hong Kong   Departed.
26-Jul-2005 United States of America   Arrived and is being processed.
26-Jul-2005 United States of America   Handed over to the Customs Office for clearance.

The big question...will I get it by Friday?  It has been so long since I ordered from Hong kong, I don't know how quick this will be.

Ethan told me that when he ordered his new M4, it entered customs, passed and got to his house all on the same day.

It depends on what kind of shipping you purchased.

If you chose express, it wil be here tomorrow or Thursday most likely.

I used the regular Speedpost express shipping.  Let's keep our fingers crossed!

By the way, it was not a gun, just some very important parts.

For an update, I just checked the tracking page and it cleared customs, it also shows that it is in transit.  I just don't remember HK shipping being this fast.  AEX took longer than this!

So far, no complaints about WGC (like I ever had one).  They even added two additional items to the order after I paid them for the first quote, all without extra shipping charges and they did it over the weekend.

When I order something from WGC on a Friday, I usually see it by the next Friday.  Typically, Speedpost is roughly five business days.

I had that one UNCompany order that took like 6 months.

I don't think I've ever had an order come in less than 4 days.

The only time I've had slow orders from WGC is when ordering guns.  But then it hasn't been WGC's fault, it's been customs fault.  ;)

I've had AEG's come from HK faster than lots of stuff from Cali.

I ordered an AEG on a monday morning and had it by wednesday.

I think between my friends and I, we have ordered around 4-5 times from Hobby Asia and have had all of our stuff within 3 days of placing the order.

BTW, Fiddle Tag, you posted around 8 times within a 10 minute time span, each post usually consisting of one or two useless words.  Don't do this.... its irritating.
