Folks, awhile back I sent out an e-mail looking to see how many people would be interested in performing the duties of an Off-Ice Official (aka: Score/Timekeeper). I received numerous responses from people expressing an interest. This e-mail is a follow up to that e-mail.
I am again asking that if you are interested (even if you responded before please reconfirm your interest) or if you know of someone that would be interested - please send me an e-mail ASAP.
We will be putting together a training session within the next week or so and the training will be mandatory.
The season will beginning very shortly and we need to make sure all of the folks interested in becoming an Off-Ice Official are properly trained and ready for action!
Remember, those interested do NOT have to be players, coaches, or officials - they just have to have the desire to perform the duties of an Off-Ice Official in the manner we train and that is expected - unbiased and professional!
