9/11 Revisited....... Audio From 9/11 goes public
« on: August 13, 2005, 04:08:32 AM »
If you haven't seen or heard any of the audio released yesterday from the FBI and FDNY then you might want to go to this site http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article ... 0000000001 I am trying to find more. Make sure if you try to watch the multi-band video "I cant breath much longer" use Internet Explorer.

All I can say is NEVER FORGET and hopefully this will become a reminder to those that have forgotten the losses we suffered that day.

I agree.
Too many have forgotten those that died on that day. Some of us here in Tucson get together every year in remeberance of those that died. We llight a candle for each aircraft and each building representing the people who were on them or in them, and a moment of silence. If music is played it usually is music that is in tribute of them.

We shouls remember this tragedy, for those who lives were lost that day were either innocents or heros.

God bless them all.

Sadly, I think the majority has already forgotten.

Some kid at school wore a 9/11 shirt. I heard someone say "what the f..." when they were looking at it. Not like it's time has passed, not like it ever will.

I'm not sure about the kiddies in school, but what makes any of you think that America has forgotten about 9/11?

We certainly seem to often lose sight of who was actually behind it, but who the heck has forgotten about it?

The reason I posted this thread is because I was recently at a social event where 9 out 10 people didn't remember the flight numbers. Didn't remember that there were over 300 FDNY firefighters that died that day and thought that a war on terrorism at this point is a "lost cause."

I think it is silly that you seem to think people should remember the flight numbers and the precise numbers of cops or firemen that were killed in that event any more than we should now the exact titles of all of your hits, "Elvis".  It sounds more to me like you are a war hawk trying to play little games with people's emotions because of the growing discontent over our current national war policy.

Why don't you try to learn how to show a little respect for all those people who lost their lives in that terrible act of terrorism without trying to perpetuate failing military policy in their name?

I'm not going to turn this into a mudslinging match over politics. If I'm "silly" for remembering those people than hopefully I'm not the only "silly" one. If you think I have no respect for those that died that day then that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

I could care less if you remember any of Elvis' hits. How many people died at an Elvis concert?

I wasn't saying that you were being silly for remembering those who lost their lives in that terrible event, I was pointing out how unfortunate is was that you would use the deaths of those unfortuanate individuals to perpetuate your personal agenda.

As far as how many people died at an Elvis concert, I don't know.  I figure at least one or two hurt themselves trying to take their panties off in a hurry, with you probably being one of em.   :D

I'm guessing your "personal agenda" is one in which you'll use the twin towers to justify just about anything we do with our military.

As far as what you do with yer panties, hey, that's totally up to you, pal.  I'm guessing though that you'll keep getting them all twisted up.

I don't think people necessarily forgot about 9/11 itself, I think they forgot about WHY it happened, WHO did it to us, and how it felt that morning.  I remember watching the entire damned thing all day long, and I'm not going to forget how it felt until the day I die.  After that, I decided to join the military.  They wouldn't take me because I had just had lung surgery.  So now I'm in training to become a fireman, inspired by the 343 that died on 9/11.

And no offense lead, but it seems that you were the first one here to start throwing around political agendas and such in this thread.
