I have a few questions being the Noob, Where is A51 and Is this open to those of us Noobs who are just learning about and already addicted to airsoft, and Finally will it be open to those of us who only have GBB pistols???

  Thanks for the patience!!

Area 51 is south of Tucson.  We have some pics of the site and a rough map available in the following thread; http://www.airsoftarizona.com/forumbb/viewtopic.php?t=7490.

Overall, it's an awesome place and a lot of fun to play at.  Especially with the wide variety of terrain it offers.  :)

Finally, I don't see why you can't play with just a pistol.  It does have definite CQB areas.  If nothing else, I might have an extra AEG you can borrow.  :)

A51 is south east of Tucson, probably about a 2 hour drive for those of you from Phoenix. I would suggest bringing a little cash as we will probably met at the TTT truck stop for dinner that night before heading to the AO. If we do Dinner that night we will probably meet at TTT about 1430 to 1500 hrs.

Yes Noobs are very welcome, even if all you have is a GBB. There will be plenty of CQB action so it will be neccessary for anyone in attendance whose gun fires over 350fps to have a pistol for the CQB sections.

Patience is what we are about, that and helping new players.

Question for Bucket
« Reply #6 on: August 21, 2005, 07:36:27 PM »
The rules section says 300 fps for CQB, you mentioned over 350.
Are the rules out of date, or is it 300 for matches that are strictly CQB? Since this field apparently has outside, as well as CQB, anyone who is over 350 is not allowed to fire in the CQB area.
I intend to be coming around to some games, and just wanting to get rules straight for everything.

You can find our current COC's and Rules at www.airsoftcoalition.com in the information section. They should answer your questions. If you do have any other questions please PM me.

It would be awesome to have new people.  We are here(as CO Bucket has said) to make any who are willing and able and have interrest in playing airsoft feel right at home.  So come one come all!

BTW this AO rocks...literally...white ones!

Sounds like a good game.  I wanna go, but I probably won't get out of my fire academy until about 5 or so and then driving...probably wouldn't be there until around 7 or so.  Is it cool if I can just jump in when I get there?

Affirmative on that, A.51 is out, but even better things are in the works...  Details will be coming out soon, and expect this one to be an event not to miss.
