I figured I'd do a writeup with photos of my M240 vehicle mount.

The mount itself is the tan item.  The green object below is known as a universal pintle adapter.  It is not a tripod, but I have it there because it allows the setup to stand up on level ground for photography purposes.  The universal pintle adapter is what would usually be below any of the smaller (vs MK19 or M2) mounted guns.  It adapts the small pintle to the larger pintle found on most stationary or vehicular military mounts.  It also has a traverse and elevation adjustment bar on the back, but for our purposes, that mostly remains unused.

The square tube is the adapter between the M240 mount and the eagle claw mount, which has the small pintle.  The eagle claw can fit the front hole of the M240 or M249 as well, but would not allow for the ammo can or rear pin support.

Here is the ammo can/magazine on the mount.  You can see the BB feeder tube and adapter mechanism sticking out of the ammo can.  This slides onto the side of the M240 and provides it with BBs.  The shock cord and fastex buckle secure the ammo can into the M240 mount.

The interior of the ammo can.  This is simply the OEM magazine internals sitting inside of an ammo can.  The left side is sloped so that all the BBs feed.  You can see the magazine power hookup behind the feed tray on the M240.  I'm not sure what the total BB capacity is, but its tremendous.  Probably something like 12,000 BBs.

When it is all assembled, the BB feed tube is out of sight enough to be convincing.

It works very well, and I'm very happy with it.

Finally finished putting my CA gearbox and spare internals in my M2.  It's shooting about 25rps now, so I'm happy.  I also got it all wired up and built a crap-tastic tripod out of 2" ABS tubing.  It ain't pretty, but it works pretty damn well.

Internals and my super complex charging handle spring mech.

When you know it's time for fun.

Looks like I don't need Ganef after all.  But I must compliment you on your welds.

Got rid of these a year ago and bought real. Still wish I would of kept the rap4. This was an old pic, i had the rap4 done up a bit more with KAC RAS, KAC VFG, and some clone BUIS.

Now I'm on to new things   Have to get a CA m15a4 cqb/mk18 sooner or later. Need to get back into it

I have two MP5's

The top one is a Tokyo Marui I purchased second hand from a guy in our group. It's stock except the Tracer Unit on the front. THAT little toy is really freaking cool at night!!! I purchased a MP5-J type stock with ambidextrous sling mounts. I'm a southpaw so that comes in real handy! It shoots consistently 270fps. Perfect for CQB

The second one is an Aftermath I bought for my son at a local sports store. http://www.aftermathairsoft.com/images/products/product_broxa.jpg It's as far as I know a rebranded Cyma. So far the only "upgrades" are a retractable stock and a PEQ since I had to move the battery from the stock. The front grip is too small for a mini. I'd have to use a nun-chuck style. I plan on adding a mock silencer (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=4485) on the front 14mm thread. I eventually plan to install a longer M4 tightbore barrel. Then I'll upgrade/replace parts as the stock ones wear out. It shoots consistently in the 340's to low 350's fps.

I also have a TSD SD-87 Multi-Shot shotgun and a Taurus 24/7 CO2 Pistol.

Well I have gotten some cool stuff in, and decided to dress up the G36s and take some new pics:

The original, long standing, old faithful TM G36 I have had in five billion configurations, now setup as a G36KA1 with a longer fore-end and barrel.  EOtech 512 on top, real steel bipod if I feel like it, but unfortunately the KAC RAS I have is not entirely accurate since there is no bipod pin retainer in the front end, so I need to use alternative securement methods.

Also, my G36A2, stock TM with standard fore-end and bipod.  Soon to be turned into a KA2 with the proper K sized foregrip.  I just wish I could afford a Zeiss, or else someone make a halfway decent replica (STARs is really bad) to complete this look:

Together:

Random SCAR pic, I figured I would see how these rail guards looked on it, and I kinda like it:

G3A3 work in progress
Fore grip mounted

Just a general idea of what it will look like complete. I was just test fitting the stock. I need a real steel back plate before I can complete this.
