A buddy of mine was stationed in Japan and bought this.  He told me it has never had an orange tip.  






I really like it.  Suprizingly heavy.  Really short.  The handle springs out when you move the little toggle lever on the end of the butt stock.  I'm charging my new 8.4V 1400 MAH Gonzo battery for it right now.  The original, an 8.4V 600 MAH, will be used as my back up.
