If your airsoft world were perfect?
« on: December 11, 2005, 03:44:50 AM »
I thought about making this a poll, but decided I really just want to hear the discussion.

If you could have your perfect field, what would it be like?
More along the lines of war torn Bosnia/Sarajevo....Afghanistan....or Iraq?
What would be some of the main "attractions" at it...I guess SI has those 2 helicopter skeletons...stuff like that.

Just looking to see what everyone else thinks.

I personally would like something along the lines of Bosnia(Saw enough of Iraq and Afghanistan....screw up hill runs and seeing the enemy but not being able to hit him) with a good central MOUT facility(with big buildings, lots of them) and scattered trees around it.  And a few russian/american vehicles just to add to the flavor.

Lots of multi-level buildings tightly packed over a large spance of area. I think it would more closely resemble Iraq. In any environment, airsoft demands lots of hard cover, peppering bushes is not fun.

Well, the prescott AO is pretty fun. I really like it when thee's lot of firefights going on and you can hears dozens of shots echoing through the trees.

But, urban combat is pretty sweet. Dang I'm mad I didn't go to Irene...

What Ganef said.

MOUT is my favorite type of gameplay.  From my experiences with airsoft MOUT/CQB, there is much more excitement.

I do like the feeling of stalking someone for awhile in the outdoors, though.

I basically have two extremes, one, a CQB/MOUT type facility, but only if it is well constructed with good scenarios. I also like playing in the high country with the pine trees. The "bush to bush" combat we are accustomed to is fun, but gets old.

I would have a small city of multi level buildings surounded by a forest with bunkers and hedgehogs (Not the small marsupeul ) scattered about the forest. also a river that divides the city in half. I would have the enviroment more like Bosnia.

I'd consider who you're talking to before you put your foot in your mouth again.

Be nice to Ian, DUDE.

If you're not acting right toward Firehead, you might find yourself like I did. We fought and it was real close, but I lost and immediately sunk into a deep melancholy (I became emoemoemo). He even took my cockatiel and trained it to say "Fuck Vince". Heartwrenching.

In my perfect airsoft world there would be no egos. No one to bash those that are new or young and it wouldn't matter what you wore or what type of weapon you used. Everyone started out with a plastic springer, some bad tactics and alot of questions, but most of the people on this forum have forgotten that.

I guess I'll just keep dreaming.

you bitches got owned! lol..

seriously Ian.. you can be a dick sometimes.. ( I still love you though )

I liked dudes idea actually. multi level buildings with CQB would kick ass after doing the whole uphill downhill, fireants on the rocks you are taking cover on (LC4) etc. etc.

like a half city block worth of apartments and houses would be sweet.

the price of my legitimacy is half price.. ho's ;)
