Does it not just snap into place like a regular handguard? Try taking the barrel off completely, if that is possible for you.

The front end or just a new rail itself?

Also, what kind of AEG will you be installing it on?

If it's a Marui or clone like SRC, there are a few more steps.

If it's a CA or ICS gun, do the following steps:
-remove old handguards
-place upper rail portion on barrel, making sure the small fork-looking piece goes underneath the inner rim of the barrel nut.
-Tighten the hex screw, which will bring the fork to bear upon the barrel nut and keep the RIS solid
-Pull back the delta ring and install the lower rail

On the front of the RIS on top there is a small flat piece that protrudes past the rail.  It is similar to a leaf spring.  Make sure this goes INSIDE the front handguard cap.  This piece keeps tension on the front of the RIS, and helps keep the lower rail from wobbling.

seriously... like 6 bux (you can go inexpensive and get your rents to go and get a couple krylon camo paint cans) and some creativity will go alot further then paying a paintball place to do it... shoot, get some camo paint paint and I'll do it for free... it's actually fun, try it, you'll see. before you know it, you be camo painting everything you own.

You push down on those as you slide it on and then let it off and that's what locks it in.

What are you trying to be busta?  Not to long ago you were 14 and had a lot of questions and "opinions".  Instead of picking on him, you should help him out with your vast years of airsoft knowledge. Like you did in your last post.
