I sent my ICS MP5 back to Airsplat, because it was extremely screwed up, I got it back today and the receiver is different.  Right above the magazine release there's a tag that says:

Special Weapons Inc
Grand Haven, MI
Mesa, AZ
SWA5 9mm

Also, right above the tag is a serial number.  I went to www.specialweaponsinc.com and they appeared to deal with real guns and not airsoft.  I've yet to fire it, but it "feels" better (my problems are fixed, rear sights are tighter.)  Anyway, this special weapons thing, what the hell is it, and is it any good?

....uh, Special Weapons is a company that does HK copies. Poor ones. People other than myself could probably tell you more about Todd Bailey. That's REALLY strange. Let's uh, get some pics of this. Is this a tag or is it engraved?

It's a raised metal part with the "Special Weapons" on it.  The serial is actually on the reciever just above it. -Both are engraved.

Right out of the box, BB's curved to the right about 4 inches at 50 feet, and the "bracket" that holds the main receiver to the handgrip/barrel was broken.  Airsplat, from what I can see, has replaced the entire receiver- no charge, except for my shipping it back to them.  Rather nice of them...but if this receiver is subpar.... I'm not so sure.

I've seen these before on the internet... I think they are ICS's new endorsed trademarks, kinda like CA m15's have Armalite trades and ICS M4's have Olympic Arms trades.

But not if it is a BAD AZ connection.  "sPeCiAl WeApOns" is known for poor quality work and bad customer support/relations.

yeah mine has those same trades i thought they were so cool until now that i have figured out what they are. The airsoft gun itself has never had a problem though.
