"TM post MP7A1 product details

TM have added shots and detials of their MP7A1 release to their site. Thanks go out to AirsoftCollector in the forums for posting the link. It looks that the new product will be out this February (on the 2nd or so) rather than the previously predicted Summer release. To keep you entertained here's TM's new wallpapers:"

If all the talk on that forums is true, I may just pick one up, apparently it has AEP internals, but shoots at close to 300fps and has hop up, unlike the Glock and Beretta AEPs before it.

Both the previous AEP's had superbly performing adjustable hop up units.

But anyways, the mp7 looks very nice.

I think I may have to get a new gun... :D

By the way, thanks for posting that link... My brother and I have been hoping someone would make an MP7, but haven't seen anything up to now.

Every day I have to wade through mountains of stupid posts on forums by kids who feel it necessary to share their personal life on the internet like they think we care.

Looks to be a good rival against the MP5K, probably work well as a secondary gun or something.

Nah dude that was my mistake, I should've put the 300fps only, I shouldn't have bothered with making any statements about the hop up.

Also it seems that Maruzen is developing a GBB version according to what I read on the forums.

I'm seriously gonna get this baby when it comes out, then again I'm on a quest for anything German.

If maruzen is making a gas version. I would probably buy that one. GBB versus AEP are, on average, better quality, and more reliable.

I'll save judgement for when the MP7 comes out. Normally I would agree with you, I would chuck a TM G18 AEP in favor of a KWA G18 GBB any day. But apparently the MP7 is slightly different, I hope they aren't blowing smoke when the guys on that forum say AEP internals with AEG performance.

I’m curious, why do you believe that GBBs are more reliable then AEPs?

This is from my experiences. I'm not a big fan of the AEP, I've had many break, the batteries are 7.2V and the one I saw died very quickly.  When it comes down to pistols, my experience says that gas is better.

AEG's on the other hand...

Ryan, did you buy one of those TM AEPs?  I don't own one, but have heard from other players that do that they are alright.  Funny sounding, and no blowback, but functionally good performers.

The Maruzen MP7 is shell ejecting.  Or it was with the last bit of info that came my way.

So you have to either collect shells after you fire, or change batteries every 300 rounds.

I never had the TM AEP. But other ones I've had never worked well. I guess I'm kinda biased towards gas pistols, so you got me on that one. I just had never seen an AEP that worked reliably. Is there anyone here who owns one? Cause I definatly wouldn't mind trying one.

You're not talking about those generic EBBs are you?

You must be thinking of those cheap $20 EBBs that JT gives away all the time at grand openings.  The new TM AEPs are totally different.
