If that sounded terse, it's because I pecked it out from my phone driving 90 on the 101 since this issue is of certain weight and importance. Well, your duty as a good friend is to keep your friend from buying something shitty. Like, if you wanna mess around in the backyard or against guns of the same level, that's fun, and totally cool, but you can't expect to buy something for $100 and expect to compete against people with mid-to-high end guns. Like, you could say "I just have to be more sneaky" but I've seen that. The advantage in airsoft is mechanical, not physical. The Matrix A47 is like, a 3/10 with the SRC M4 being a 5/10 and like, anything else that's un-upgraded being a 7/10. Sure, it's better than what's out there, but again, it's all about what you're up against. Airsoft guns are like Fram filters. Pay now, or pay later. It's up to you just how much you have to end up paying out.
