Hello, I am new to this forum.  I was wondering if it would be ok to contact you on the number you left.  I live in Glendale area and have a TM AK 47 that is in need of repair. I did not want to be rude and just call before I introduced my slef.  I can describe the problem over the phone and maybe you can tell me if you can help, thank you.

Go post your problem in the "troubleshooting" section, and maybe we can help you determine the problem, and what you can do about it, ect. He might not get this for some time.

Ok I will do, but its kind of a problem.  The gear box I believe is the problem and I do not have he proper tools to open it, but also rather do not wish to delve into trying to fix the internals my self.  I have taken apart the gun some time ago.  I rather have someone who is experienced fix the gun or diagnose the problem.  I will go ahead and look at the trouble shoot area though.  Thanks for the help,

What sort of upgrades could you do to a CA G36C?  I'm looking to get a bit more power out of it and I have no technical knowledge whatsoever. ;)

If you have no technical knowledge and no desire to get any then take your AEG to a professional. If you want to gain technical insight into your gat, follow the general guidelines set out in the troubleshooting area including my visual guide to gearboxes, and though it is not specific to the G36C most of the general guidelines are universal. bais upgrades are set out as: piston head, m120/pdi170 spring metal bushings etc...

It's not that I don't have any desire to get any technical knowledge, I just don't want to take my best gun apart, and possibly break it or not be able to figure out how to put it back together. That, and I'm usually busy on weekends...  Although, I have been thinking about taking apart my TM Sig 552, since it's already broken, there's not a whole lot I can do wrong. ;)

It is all right if you have no desire to learn how your gun functions, there are a lot of trained professionals ready to take you money to fix you minor problems. (:P)

But realy what I was saying is that if you wnat to know how to do things yourself there are a lot of helps for you on this site and others. Most of the gearbox components are relatively the same and so it is easy to figure out how they go together and come apart with a little desire and thinking. If you want to change out your spring then take your gun apart and note every step and where every screw goes in place, in order, and just take it down untill you can change out the spring and then carefully reverse your steps untill your gun is back together again. That is what I did on my first gun and I learned a ton from that experience.

If you want a good guide on how to take your gearbox apart, I suggest using the one here:

http://www.airsoftplayers.com/mechbox/tutorial.asp

That was the one I used to take apart my gun for the first time. Just follow all the steps and you should be able to see what's wrong.

Hmm didn't meant ot bring this thread back up. But about two weeks ago he told me that my receivers were all engraved and ready to ship. Haven't heard back from him since and I'm a little worried. Can someone help me out?
